You are not alone. I am a paralegal in Florida and have experienced the same exact thing. I have 10 years experience in many different areas of the law. I have had only 3 interviews in 3 months and no call backs on those I am most qualified for. I am working with a staffing firm with my resume. Send your resume to staffing firms and temporary work agenciea. Work with someone that can go over your resume, I am in the process of learning that although my resume shows good work ethic, the way it comes off may not be so good. Only give references "upon request" so as to not get that bad review before a call back. And one thing I have been told is very important - Follow-up! Send another email stating that you are confirming receipt of your resume and that you would like to schedule an interview. Recent advice I have received. Own it. Act like you want it. They need you as much as you need them. Be persistent. I really hope this helps... good luck!!

Oh my gosh, I know EXACTLY what you are going through! It happened to me. I didn't have good grades for a little while, and I tried every place. Calling back would help to get answers sooner. I had good reasons to be hired. I had a low confidence in myself after a while, because I thought there was many things I was doing wrong. There wasn't. They just didn't have opening. Be polite, and show that you care for your patients. The employers will be impressed, and you will have a job. You just have to keep on trying, and putting your name out there. For me it was still tough, but I had good friends to recommend me, and now I work in a hospital helping people for long eight hour shifts every other day! It's exhausting, so someday when you will become a working CNA you will miss the days you didn't have to go to work. Enjoy that, and before long, they will call your name. I guarantee you!

you are not doing your follow up, you don't just submit a resume, you have to call after submission and tell them to look for your resume, and then you have to call every week until they either agree to see you for an interview or tell you the position has been filled.
It is a full time job to find work, those who show more interest with follow up calls are the ones that get the jobs. Stop sitting on your duff waiting for a call and CALL THEM.

No. A clinical Assistant can't practice as a CNA. in case you're an approved clinical Assistant you're a CMA. It takes specific education on your place as a CMA and specific education as a CNA. the two are distinctive positions interior the clinical field.

Although many companies put jobs online, many more put their ads on tv or in newspapers. Also the majority of companies perfer you to go in person and fill out an application, they get to see you ans talk to you instead of just seeing typeing. Call around to your local nursing homes, local hospitals and hospice homes near you I'm sure there some demand with the city youlive in.

Get off the computer and out onto the pavement. You need to physically go to the places that are hiring. Nursing homes will almost always hire you within a week of getting your application, because they're chronically short handed and have a high turnover.
