I debated this in paralegal school on the pro side team, which won. I assume you're referring to physician-assisted euthanasia wherein people are allowed to die with dignity, usually people with terminal diseases who choose euthanasia rather than waiting for the disease to ravage their body and/or mind. I think that with proper regulation, it should be made legal.

If you've ever had a loved one suffer through months and months of agony and indignity due to cancer or some other terminal illness, it is a real eye opener. Watching my grandfather and a young cousin both go through horrible battles for their lives strengthened my belief that the choice should be available to people.

I don't believe that people should be allowed to make the decision for others, but I do believe it's a decision that an individual should be allowed to make for themself with proper counseling and education.

You asked for opinions, I gave mine. I won't debate this issue, especially not here. This can be a volatile subject and like many other issues, there are proponents and opponents of both sides that may never see eye to eye.

I am pro. I believe no one should be able to force you to say in this world and suffer. That is a personal decision only you should be able to make. Also, if we extend this courtesy to sick/dying animals shouldn't we do the same for our loved ones? Just because someone I don't know in another state somewhere believes in Jesus doesn't mean I shouldn't be able to pass on with dignity on my own terms.
