I have no one...just me, my husband, and my daughter in my little world. I've seen my doctor and my pastor. My doctor just wants to sedate me on anti-depressants and my pastor says that when I'm ready, to come and see him. I don't want to talk. Talking does NOTHING! I get up, feed my daughter, take my daughter here, take here there, feed her again, clean, clean, clean......life sucks!

I used to be a highly motivated person who was always on top of things, but over the years, my depression has become worse and I hardly have enough motivation to even feed myself. It's awful. I used to have so many hopes and dreams, but when you can hardly take care of yourself, those hope and dreams fade away. Anyone else here in the same position? I am 21 and am trying to attend college, in case you were wondering. And nobody understands this lack of motivation…I’m just labeled as a sloth.

P.S. - What really sucks is that I can't take antidepressants anymore because none of them work and I have a heart arrhythmia. Eventually, I was given Adderall which REALLY helped, but it screws with my heart, so no meds for me. Isn't that funny? You finally run into the perfect medication but you can't take it! Life is so cruel.

I've tried cognitive behavioral therapy, but being an introspective person who read college psychology text books as a child, it was a bit too obvious to be effective and other therapies don't appeal to me for various reasons.

I do attempt a healthy diet, regular excercise, a proper sleep habit and engaging in activities in which I have enjoyed including the arts.

I don't believe in herbal remedies for real problems therefore they won't work for me.

I left meds as a last resort and had a bad reaction to the first antidepressant I tried (Prozac). Basically, depression + excessive energy = a maddening hell. I quit after 6 months and stop seeing my psychiatrist and have been surviving for the last three years, but my depression is rearing it's ugly head again and my partner has suggested I try again with the meds...

How long did it take you? Did you have a mad reaction to one drug and find another helped?

If I have a coffee before I train, as it boosts up my pulse and "awakens me", it allows me to train for longer.
Now my main priority is to lose weight. As it allows me to train for longer, sweat more and move more - does it make me lose weight than without a coffee and getting tired after a little while?
I understand it won't make me as fit, however in regards to losing weight, how does it fair?
This is assuming there is no sugar in the coffee as well.

So I donated blood at work today, and when I was going through the pre-screening, the lady said "Oh, your Iron is high." I think she then wrote down either a 117 or 177(couldn't tell with her handwriting) but anyway, I started wondering about that afterwards.

Is this something I should be really concerned about?

Also, I know there is some genetic thing that causes you to absorb more iron than you need. There are some people on my father's side who had high iron(found out after mentioning this to my dad) but I don't know about my mothers side.

Is the test for this complicated/expensive? Is it something I should look into having done?

Or is high Iron one of those things that it's not ideal, but not serious either?

My mom is 82.Had open heart surgery.We live in chicago ill.
The policy's here in ill are differnt than in other city's.
Mom own a house which is paid up.
I'm a cosigner as of the last 2 years.Up until the last 2 years my name was not on anything.Not on the house or any of her bank money.I hired a lawyer to put my name on these documents which costs me 2000 thousand dollars.
Now i am paying over 4 thousand dollars a month for her to be in a nursing home.Ever since her open heart surgey she has not been able to walk the way she use too .On top of that her eye sight is bad & her hearing is very bad.She doesnt want to be home alone.I do live with her but am not & cannot stay with her.Its very stressful to take care of her on top of everything else.I have very bad arthrits of the knees.My knees swell up like a balloon & my hips ach & feet swell.I'm only 42 but i feel bad myself.I cant work.I cant be on my feet.I know i could something
but my skills are also limited & have no education.

My doctor gave me free sample packages of my first birth control pill a while ago, and they just ran out this month. I went back and got a prescription yesterday, and paid to have it filled for the first time. But I've never had a regular prescription before, and honestly, I don't know how it works; what evidence to I have to submit when I go back for refills next month? The package? The pharmacy took my doctor's prescription note; was I supposed to ask for that back? Will I have to go back to my doctor?

I put something deep in my mouth this weekend that just came out of another girls mouth so I figured that’s how I got Strep throat. It was a very aggressive strain because I went from feeling fine to death bed sick (ulcers in throat, head, join pain and 103 degree fever) I thought I would die before I could get to the doctor the next morning. I went to the doctor and tested positive and got a shot of rocephin and a bottle of penicillin. She did that 5 minute test and it was bright stripes positive in 3 minutes. I did not start feeling better for about 12 hours and within 16 hours the fever broke and 24 hours the yellow green puss balls feel off of my tonsils. What is upsetting me is that just as my fever broke I felt one of the puss balls in my tonsils leak and then my neck glands just under my jaw blew up like golf balls and now my ears hurt and my neck is stiff. Now is this just a last fu from being sick or is the penicillin not killing it and now I have Meningitis? Also, now that I

i got prescribed hydrocodone after i broke my arm. i have trouble taking huge pills, and let me tell you, those things are bricks. they're HUGE. anyway, the label says not to chew or crush...
now i'm curious to know..
people who use this recreationally, if they chew or crush it, they would be loaded all at once right?
BUT..wouldn't their high be shorter since its all getting absorbed at once?

i was just curious and when questions like these enter my head i have to know the answer haha.

Is it a normal thing to feel your heart beating while resting?
the thing is that I can feel my heart beat when I'm not doing any kind of physical activity, like right now I can feel it beating against my chest, and it gets worst if I go running or something, it beats really fast, so fast that if I sit still my body shakes to the rhythm of it.... is that bad?

I am addicted to putting ice in my mouth and swallowing it. It's a very extreme habit, I do it at school, when I get my break at work, at home, etc. I just buy a soda, throw the liquid away and start 'eating' the ice. I even fill a cup with ice before I go to bed, take the ice cubes and just pop them into my mouth. Everyday, I ingest soooo much ice, I need to know if this is harmful. Thank you.

i have a stutter, when im alone i talk fine. i can talk to family usually pretty good, just that if i talk to other people my stutter kicks in and if i present i get soooo nervous and shake but i try to talk semi slow and dont stutter that much. i can read in class ok but i have a problem with the first word im reading but after that its all good. anyone have advice or anything?

im 18 and just starting college so it might tottally mess up my career if i stutter so that makes me so nervous because i want to be able to get a good job but that might interfere.
