And was handed a glucose monitor kit with instructions
to taking a reading twice daily...
The kit which is nice, only contains enough 'test strips'
for 5 days worth of readings...
I am guessing I must get these strips at a pharmacy,
but do I need a prescription to get them?

i'm 16 and my wisdom teeth are coming in :( i have to get them pulled cause i dont have enough room for them. i already had a couple of molars pulled out before and it didnt hurt all that badly afterwards - the pain meds worked pretty well. i'm just worried about the wisdom teeth cause i heard u can get something called dry sockets.....so yah, how much does it hurt would you say? are dry sockets painful? (if you have experienced them....)

I just started taking yaz at the beginning of sept, and am almost done with my first pack. I am going to be taking my third white pill (out of four) tonight, but i still havent goten my period.

Is this normal? I was under the impression that i should have gotten my period on the first white pill. Please, tell me your experiences on yaz and whether or not this should be a concern or not. thanks!

Why do I hear things louder than their supposed to be? Airplanes are becoming louder to me every week. When I'm at school in my cafeteria the noise hurts my ears. Before when I was in the kitchen I could never hear tiny sounds coming from the second floor of my home! I hear everything now! What is up with my hearing? Why do I hear things louder than they are supposed to be?

Any suggestions on how to ease nipple pain besides over the counter pain medicine? I've tried this already and it's not helping. They are very tender, sore, and sensitive. I'm not pregnant (100% sure), and I'm not on my period. No mean or rude comments, please.

Last summer I strictly drank Lipton green tea as part of a diet regimen. I began feeling a pain in the stomach and the symtpons of a urinary tract infection. I noticed that after I quit drinking this tea and stuck to water the infection disappeared.

i got a 2nd degree burn on my right thigh from water, and i just went to the burn clinic where they had to peel the dead skin off, i was prescribed vicodin and i took one tablet as said in the directions but i'm still in a lot of pain, can i take another one? or is it a bad idea?

i know that it is recommedned to talk to your doctor about this but i can't contact mine right now..so yeah.

I've just had a temporary bridge fitted whilst my gums sort themselves out after an extraction.

Problem is it seems really big and a can hardly speak exept with a lisp. And the edges are really sharp and are slicing in to my tongue. Have I been sold a lemon or is this normal?

This has been occuring since the age of approximately 3. I have recently made an appointment to see the doctor. What can this be? I never thought much of it over the years as it didn't seem to bad, but recently (2 years) it seems to have gotten worse! It hasn't effected his school as he is a stright A student!

First off they said they were going to do one section at a time, so do the top right the first week, the top left the second week or so, and then the bottom right the week after that, and then the bottom left after that. I'M SCARED TO DEATH!! I've gotting shots before, but not since I was about 7 or so, so I can't remember. A few days ago, the lower right of my stomach hurts... sharp pains, and such, it hurt to walk especially, and i always had to have weight on it, because if it left, it would hurt even more.
this was for about two days.
then yesterday it dissappeared.
this morning i woke up and it was HUGE sharp pains, and throughout the day it got lighter, but still sharp pains.

What do you think it could be? I dont think it would be appendicitis, because the pain was gone for like a day, and came back??
