I've just had a temporary bridge fitted whilst my gums sort themselves out after an extraction.

Problem is it seems really big and a can hardly speak exept with a lisp. And the edges are really sharp and are slicing in to my tongue. Have I been sold a lemon or is this normal?

Go back to your dentist and have them alter the temp bridge.

NO, YOU WERE NOT SOLD A LEMON.
THE PERMANENT WILL BE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN THE TEMP.
YOU MAY NEED TO HAVE YOUR DENTIST MAKE SLIGHT ADJUSTMENT TO THE TEMP.
