And was handed a glucose monitor kit with instructions
to taking a reading twice daily...
The kit which is nice, only contains enough 'test strips'
for 5 days worth of readings...
I am guessing I must get these strips at a pharmacy,
but do I need a prescription to get them?
Thanks!

yes you need to get them from the pharmacy. no you dont need a prescription...you can buy them over the counter. do you have insurance? if you do then you should get a prescription for them and your insurance company will probably cover part of the cost for the strips. strips are expensive without insurance. I've seen a box of 100 one touch ultra strips for around $80 (thats just for the one touch ultra meter...not all meters). so if you have insurance that will cover part of the cost then get a presription so you wont have to pay that $80!

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.

I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

You should not need an prescription. They sell them at any pharmacy and also on-line. Just make sure that you get the right testing strips for your machine. The Pharmacy tech should be able to help you if you are confused.

You don't need a prescription for the strips, however if you get one, most insurances will cover them as a prescription or as durable medical equipment. They can be expensive, so get a script from your doc before you need more.

You don't need a prescription for the strips. They are OTC. They are kept behind the counter because they are expensive. If you want your insurance to cover it, you will need a prescription.

No, you can get your pharm. to order them for you , or you can pick them up at Wal-mart or just about anywhere. They are expensive, so if your insurance will cover them , then get your pharm to order them for you. If not buy a monitor that has cheaper strips. I brough a relion from walmart simply because the newer meters were very expensive when it came to buying strips. Good luck

No you don't need a prescription but if you want your insurance to pay for them you will need to Gert them from the primacy with a prescription. Otherwise they carry them on the shelf at Wal Mart.
