This is my second month being on Birth control and I am still getting my period even when I skip the brown pills for the fourth week. The first time my period still came I thought it might be because my body wasn't used to the pills, but my period came again. Right now it isn't very heavy but it is still bothering me, even if it doesn't get heavy or even if its just spotting i'm not comfortable with it. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I see my chiropractor tomorrow. What can I do in the mean time? I am trying the homeopathic remedy arnica montana, and just had a long hot bath. Very helpful. At least I can move now. :) Any other ideas? Thanks so much. (Ouch!)

I am 18, and have been regular since I started at twelve. Today I should have woken up to blood on the toilet paper as dictated by placebo week on my BC pills. But no blood. It's been about two months since I've had sex, and there were condoms used all the times previous to the last time (including the last) and I've had my period normally since then. In fact, the only change physically is my weight. But I'm not underweight, so that shouldn't be a problem. I'm currently sitting at a barely healthy 106lbs for my 5'2" frame.

Where the hell is my period? SHould I go and get a pregnancy test done? I'm not stressed about anything but my weight and this new prospect of being pregnant.

What do you think?

I have, well...just about every kind of sleep problem I can think of at one time or another. I am going to go to a sleep specialist at some point, but it keeps getting put off. I have heard all the traditional methods for helping sleep...no caffine, set scheduel, bath before bed, light excercise, sleepytime/chamomile tea, anything lavendar, relaxing music, no noise...
Is there anything out there I might be missing to help me until I can get to see someone? I've dealt with this my whole life, but with a family it is just getting harder and more annoying to deal with.

I woke up this morning with a back ache. It's the upper part of my back that's hurting. Sometimes the pain also goes to the front. It hurts more when I gulp or take a deep breath. I don't have someone to take me to the hospital until this afternoon. Any suggestions what's causing my pain and what can I do about it?

I want to get off this drug. If I stop taking it for so much as a day, I feel angry, agitated, suicidal almost. Then, the physical withdrawals. Sweating, severe nausea, migraines. It is so scary. How do I find maybe a natural alternative, a plan in place before I quit this drug gradually. I've also had my metabolism slow down dramatically after being thin my whole life. Anybody able to get off this heroin like drug( as far as the withdrawals)??? By the way, I am on a low dose, got myself down to 75 mg. I also occasionally take klonopin.

I'm getting a tattoo...I'm a bit nervous that I'll pass out though. I want to be prepared and bring a snack. I'm having trouble deciding between: a granola bar, a chocolate bar, or lollipops. Which might be the best/quickest way to prevent passing out? Please only answer if you know from experience, DON'T guess.

I don't understand this at all and am really upset :-(

Honestly I'd say I was a normal sized girl. Not skinny or fat. I'm 5'9, 22 years old and recently (like every girl) wanted to tone up a bit - lose a few pounds to look better so I started eating healthily, working out and my body is looking really good (or so I thought) - I saw curves - very hourglass.

I never ever weigh myself. But today as I've received compliments saying I'm looking hot I decided to and couldnt BELIEVE what i say.

I weighed 15 and a half stone?!?!?! I DO not understand this

:-(

I swear, I'm not obese and in denial - I'm really not fat :-/

What is going on?

(its weird because ive got swollen salivary gland problems - dont know if this is anything to do with it)

PLEASE HELP ME :(

my friend has been diagnosed with MS today.

I was expecting if because his legs are affected, he walks unsteadily.

The neurologist tesed his eyes on 01.08.07 and assumed it was MS because one eye was slow at following the neurologist's finger.

During the diagnosis, the neurologist teste his eyes again and said this his eyes are better.

I have advised my friend to take evening primrose and a multivitamin.

I dont know if that helped.

Any advice?

Instead of eating chicken salad sandwiches for lunch, lately I've cut back by only eating the chicken salad filling with a side of cucumer salad. Is the chicken salad filling bad for you?

What does it mean when there is a red spot on your uvula? It looks as though a blood vessel had popped on there. Is this a sign of acute HIV or cancer or any other serious illness? Or can it be cause by an infection as simple as a sore throat or cold?

Wants me to go on Provera, my last doctor put me on it to induce a period. It didn't regulate it and I haven't had one since. Now my new doctor wants to try it again 7 months later. Is Provera just used to induce a period once? Is there a chance it can regulate it? What is your experience with Provera? I would love any information!

thanks!

This morning I have a routine check up and I was due for some xrays. I wasn't even thinking about if I was pregnant, because I don't know for sure yet. I am taking a test on Monday.
I had the xray where they put the tube by your mouth and take pics. They were extremely fast. Should I be worried if I am pregnant.

How risky are those xrays to the fetus?

What are the chances you have breast cancer when you find a lump and you get a sonogram and the radiation waves wont go through it? Can it be benign still? What does it mean if you see a shadow on the sonogram or mammogram film?

This weekend I have been to the ER two times, in 24hrs. I had 18 tubes of blood taken out, with neck xrays. All were negative. The last doctor who saw me mentioned Fibromyalgia. I had and still have tons of stess in my life, which may cause this. I had to quit my job, due to fatigue, tremors, and pain in my joints and muscles. What is the best thing to do for Fibromyalgia, diet, medications? What should I take for my hair loss? I just turned 31 the day he mentioned this to me. Im scared, please help
Thank you

Amy

The first time I asked this, I didn't get anything but a bunch of crappy advice. I want answers, not advice.

I have NO USE for any sexual desires. I will not have a mate of any kind. I will not have any children. (I have no uterus!) I find that sexual desire of any type at all is just a waste of my time. (For that matter, so is a vibrator!) I don't wish to "satisfy" these urges. I wish to GET RID of them.
How does one do that? Is there surgery? Is there some kind of hormone therapy?
By the way, I have no uterus OR ovaries.
