You are still young, your period wont always be predictable. I wouldn't worry about it.

You need to eat more frequently. Losing too much weight / exercising too much can make your period stop.

You need to eat at least as many calories as you're burning every time you play tennis. If you're playing as often as you said, then you're burning approximately 2,500 calories per week.

You didn't mention your height or weight, so I can't guess how much you should be eating already, but 2,500 calories is a little more than a day's worth of food for a very active person. (Hint: split this 2,500 calories up over the week, so that you're really only eating 360 calories more every day. That's like adding one protein bar every day.)

You should never be eating less that 1,200 calories a day. If you do, your body will go into starvation mode, and you won't even have enough energy to play tennis.

Either don't exercise for quite as long, or eat more food.

If you have had your period for only a short time missing your period can be as a result of your body trying to adjust to the changes going on inside of it.

If you have had your period for several years now being stressed about something both good and bad can cause the period to be delayed.

Dietary changes and also exercising a lot can affect the period by making it lighter or even missing (this happens to many female professional athletes).

Please let your mom know what is going on as well so that she can help you to keep an eye on things and then let your doctor know when you have your next check up.

The more active you are, the less you have your period.
That doesn't mean your going through menopause.

This month, my period was late. I don't know why... It's either stress or something like that.

But anyway.

Example:
Say you're a swimmer, you swim everyday.
You might not have your period as long as you usually do, or you might just skip it.
Not because somethings wrong but because you're like WAY active.

This doesn't happen to me, because I don't do any sports.

But, according to what my Mom says, and what I've read, you're o.k.

lol

Good girl keeping active! If I knew how long you have had your period it would help. But because of your vague answer I believe this: If you are just starting its because your tiems are iregular. It will happen until your body gets into a regular pattern
