I have a prescription Vicodin 750mg acetaminophen/ 7.5mg hydrocodone, i took one this morning around 8:30, and it is about 6:00PM right now.

Is it safe?

Read your prescription label... it is usually 4-6 hours between doses... follow the directions...

if in doubt call the pharmacy and ask...

Yes, it should be safe or your doctor wouldn't prescribe it. If you took one pill this morning at about 8:30 and haven't taken one all day and want to take one again at 6:00pm, you should be fine. I am taking vicodin myself and mine are 500mg acetaminophen and 5mg. hydorconone(vicodin) and can take one or two every 4-6 hours. If you are not sure, check with your pharmacist or doctor. Either one should be able to help you out on that.

Also, your doctor should have put it on the prescription for you or told you how much to take in whatever time period. The pharmacist also should have let you know as well when and how much to take. Just look at the bottle of pills and that will tell you too.

It should be ok depending on the instructions on the bottle. I would recommend checking with your pharmacist as well to see what they say.

yea, you should be okay. check the bottle though it should tell you how long to wait in between each time you take it
