I had one of my teeth pulled because it cracked. I honestly didn't feel a thing. And I'm a scaredy cat. I hate pain. There was some pain after but the the drugs that I got more than made up for that.

Probably not much of an answer but I can understand that kind of fear. My mouth must have cost my parents well over $3000 by now. I had to get my wisdom teeth out via surgery and sedation so I was terrified, lying there stiff as a board. I don't remember even closing my eyes but the next thing I knew I was opening them and I never felt anything (even though my teeth were below the gum) I've also had a number of adult teeth pulled and enough cavities filled for a whole family with the usual anesthetic. The mouth just goes numb and as terrifying as it can get it can be a little humourous and embarrasing having people peer into your mouth and fiddle around. The most pain you generally will feel is when you get the anesthetic, which really is comparable to an ant bite. I don't think baby teethc are rooted in so firmly either. It's probably hard to do but try not to think too hard about it. When it's over you won't have to go through it again.

Having a tooth pulled is much less painful than having cavities drilled. If you are going to be out you'll be fine.

You can picture a nice place to relax. Keep bringing your thoughts back to that image as you are getting ready. Focus on relaxing your muscles.

i don't get your question. you're getting a milk tooth extracted and your dentist will put you to sleep as in conscious sedation? If you'll be put to sleep by your dentist, there should be nothing to be scared of. the reason for the sedation is to alleviate fear and anxiety.
