Check out the online videos and information at www.stutteringhelp.org. "Self Therapy for the Stutterer" is the best book.

With what you described is sounds to me that it is fixable. I don't think you can fix it yourself. But you can go to a speech therapist who can help you learn how to get your stutter to disappear fully. My best friend had a stutter and went to a speech therapist in our high school and by the end of the year the stutter was almost non-exsistant. She continued her speech therapy after high school and today she speaks perfectly without any sign of a stutter. If you want to try and do it yourself I would suggest looking at your local library or book store for any kind of books on such a thing or you could look online for any kind of help that you may be able to do in your own home. I hope this helps you out. Good luck.
