I bought a box of Badia Star Anise Tea, imported from Spain, from the Hispanic foods aisle. It claims to aid in digestion. Is it safe?

I'm a junior college student and I have been suffering from depression since I was about 13, I believe, which was about the time that my father passed away. My mother passed away this February. I keep denying that this has further perpetuated my depression, but I'm not so sure anymore.Even as I type this I feel an overwhelming sense of hopelessness that it actually causes a headache.

What I do know is that my grades have fallen significantly this year (65, 70 and 72 on my first exams), I'm forgetting alot, and I'm finding that I'm also misspelling a lot of words. I have been, until now, an honors student. I have always held education to the highest regard, but all the things that have transpired this year have led me to feel like it's just not worth it. I feel like I've just reached my academic threshold and I just can't cut it anymore. I feel like a complete failure.

I do not have much cash or any insurance, so I guess a psychologist is out of the question. I think the only thing I can do is speak with a doctor and just get some medication.

I don't know. Please, help me.........

SInce my grandma died I've felt like I was going to die too. And I have gotten hepatitis and I thought I had stomach cancer and I had a urination problem and I thought it was prostate cancer but it was just puberty getting late and now I have small side pains and I think I have gallstones no thanks to somebody...sounds like hypocondria?

Okay so my knees are not in pain, but they feel weird...I cannot really describe it..it feels brittle and mabye tight? but not really. When I work out, I feel something...sorry for the bad describing! Maybe it is a strain? lack of vitamens or milk? I play field hockey 2 1/2 hours everyday...I am 5'10" and 130lb. I have no fat but all muscle. Could it be like my muscle that connects to my knee? I feel it more at the bottom of my knee. I also weight lift twice a week. (I eat about 3500 calories a day too) Could it also be my shoes that effect my knees? THANKS!!! in advance ;D

I read somewhere that after you have a colposcopy u will have a discharge that has a strong, foul smell to it that I could expect for up to a month.....Is this really true and is it that bad? All serious answers appreciated.

I know I have to wear them, and I do, often, but lately whenever i place the elastics in my braces, the next time I open my mouth, they snap off. I have to keep replacing them and its really irritating. It got so annoying, that i just got to the point where i stopped wearing them for a few days. Why is this? And I am pretty sure that I am putting them in the right way. I even asked my orthodontist and he said i was doing it right. What gives??

Im so fat. i dont want to see fat any more. i dont know what to do. i run all the time and drink only water. i dont 500 crunchies a day and i dont loose anything. im thinking about trying to take a bath in epson salt and running in a sauna suit. i heard they make you lose alot of weight. on friday i started useing the tips in the book stop sweating and start living. i have hyperhidrosis and ive tried EVERYTHING and so i was hoping this book would work. for some reason it seems that i sweat alot more then i used to. does this mean it's working? is it like releasing sweat glands or somthing? can you please tell me what i'm doing wrong?

It is not painful and only happens when i slighty squeeze my nipple. i am not squeezing hard at all. it doesnt smell either

I have been off my pill for about 2 months. I got a period on 31st August and i guess i am due for another but havent got it.

I was wondering if any of you thought i could be pregnant? Does nipple discharge have anything to do with that?

I also have a very sore lower back.....

But these are the only symptoms i have, i feel fine otherwise. Should i take a test now?

ever since i was 7 or 8 i have been getting these horrible headaces. They feel absoltely terrible! They always follow by vominting to. but recently i have had blood work and my liver enzyme was high. One of the questions the doctor asked was if i get headaces like what i described. Of course like an idiot i didn't even say anything. Could they be something more then just migraines? kay im 16, & ive been noticing for the past months that my vision has been getting crappy. i went to the doctor in july he said i got 20/20 vision.. but my cousin said you can have 20 20 vision and still have bad vision.. i dunno it made sense when she explained it.
anyways. everything is kinda foggy .. or like it glows ... like that photo editing effect on picasa2. (way to advertise)

when i look around, when im in class for example, i see random lines and all this stuff going crazy. its like after you rub your eyes and then focus on soemthing imemdiatly. i can still see pretty well but those just botehr me alot.. what the HELL is that? it freaks me out. i go on the computer alot but .. i dont think it does that to you.

for example, when youre watching tv and you close yoru eyes immediatly you still see the outline, so its like that all day long pretty much.. i have anxiety if that can contribute to it .. and probly some other mental issues haha.anywyas..any help is greatly appreted

My husband is taking CHANTIX to stop smoking, but now he fills bloated all the time, to the point that it's sometimes a bit painful, and hard for him to get comfortable. His eating habits have not changed, and he still gets to sleep just fine at night. On the good side he has stopped smoking 2 packs a day, but still smokes some. He would like to keep taking CHANTIX, but he really feels it's eatting away at his stomach. He also takes PRILOSEC, everyday, and has always had bad heart burn if he forgets to take his PRILOSEC. WHAT CAN HE DO FOR HIS PAIN ?? and still take CHANTIX. Is this painful gutt due to CHANTIX, or taking CHANTIX & PRILOSEC together. If so, what can he take to stop smoking, that will not effect the PRILOSEC. He really needs the PRILOSEC, heart burn runs in the family. OR, if he still wants to take CHANTIX, how can he avoid the stomach pain.??????HELP,..Thank You.
