they both weigh a pound, smart one, but muscle is heavier than fat by density and in a general application.

1 pound of fat=1 pound of muscle. A pound is a pound.
It's not that fat or muscle "weighs" more than the other-its density. Muscle is a denser tissue and takes up less space. If you are trying to lose weight and you are also building muscle you may not see the best results on the scale. However, you will be losing inches/sizes so keep up with measurements!
Hope this helps!

Good one...both are the same weight at a pound. But muscle weighs more then fat (which is why when you get tone you don't lose numbers on the scale.

I keep hearing that muscle weighs more than fat. Has to be true, right?
And muscle's the stuff you want. You know, a fat person can be fit and a thin person can be out of shape- if you have a decent amount of muscle on your body, you're in good shape.

You're asking the wrong question. They both weigh the same. You should be asking which one is more dense. Muscle is more dense and therefore if you take an area of your body and fill it with muscle, you'll weigh more than if that area was filled with fat.

both are the same, one pound
but muscle is more denser and fat is less denser which makes fat look bigger and muscle smaller but both are the same weight
example: fat dude=250 muscular dude=250...........both will weigh the same but the fat dude will be bigger and the muscular dude is smaller and has more tone if u know wat i mean
