I'm psychology major/ human health and wellness minor, and I've been recently weighing my future career options.
I know that psychiatrists prescribe meds and psychologist generally don't, and a psychiatrist has a higher salary, but what are some of the other significant differences? and what exactly does a therapist do? or is it just a different name for the same thing?
I really want to get into the medical field, but I also want to do counseling and talk therapy, and do more than diagnosing and prescribing medication. Are there psychiatrists who do more behavioral modification therapy than medication therapy?
I'm a 4.0 student so grades are not a problem and lots of schooling does not bother me, nor does the idea of medical school; so beyond that, what are some of the major appealing and unappealing factors of the different fields?
Any info (especially from people in the field) would be greatly appreciated!

Also, my brother kicked me in the stomach, and I now have a huge brusie on my stomach area..
What are the risks of the stomach bruise?

Also, should I keep track of the bruises to see if they are getting better or not?

Effexor XR is venlafaxine HCI (37.5 mg for the first week, then 75 mg from then on), a medication for anxiety and depression. One of the side effects is loss of appetite, but I know everyone has different reactions. Anyone have any experience with this medication or know about it?

One of the side effects of Celexa is suppressed appetite. I have been reading a lot that Celexa makes you gain a lot of weight. Is that true? I just started taking it. Can it help you to lose some weight being an appetite suppressant??

My wife and I have been married 10+ years (monogomous too). We have never used condoms (***** control early on and now her tubes are tied). She has never had a reaction to my semen. About a week ago we had intercourse and I climaxed in her as I nornally would. The next morning she said her vaginal area was very itchy and irritated. After a few days it subsided. Not wanting to rush things we abstained from intercourse, but she being the good wife gave me oral. When I climaxed, some of my semen got in her eye and the rest on her breasts. Shortly after cleaning up we noticed her breast area had broken out in hives and her eye was swelling. She took some Benadryl and seems to be okay now. Is she allergic to me? Is it possible to develop an allergy like this? It was never a problem, before.

Ok so i go to gymnastics lessons once a week, and on the other days i practice in my backyard. I usually do back handsprings and back tucks and also round off back handsprings. I usually go for about twenty minutes and then rest and then go for another twenty minutes. Is this ok? Do i need to increase or decrease time? Also, on average how many calories would be burned off by a back handspring or a series of them?

What excercise burns the most calories and fat? I hear opinions about running, swimming, etc.. I already do heavy weightlifting so I have really good muscles which aid in burning the fat, but want to find a good cardio routine to help me out as well. Any Suggestions?

Now by time I’m like 16 to 20 I’m going to have the size of a donkey’s dick, hell to the no. I am really freaked out please tell me if this is normal I don’t masturbate any more or any thing like that. OK I’m a 14 year old African American umm 5 ft. 12 umm that’s it .

Is it true that smoking cigarettes can make you lose weight? If so, does the same principle apply to cigars?

Seems like an incredible waste of time and money to go to the doctor just to have them snip the stitch and pull it out.

I have had 4 children I am 5'4 and a uk size 10, people tell me I have a good figure, but I hate my body. I have real small boobs and I feel like a boy one minute, then fat the next. Why cant I be happy with my body? I would love to feel attractive but I always judge myself because I am not skinny enough.
Why am i so obsessed with being skinny? I can be quite disciplined and lose weight quickly, but no matter how much weight I lose I always look bigger than other peiople who are supposed to be the same size as me.

HI,
I weigh around 16 st and need to loose 3-5 stone. I wanted to know the best way to do this.. should I join a weight program? I read that the average male calorie intake is 2000-2500 per day. Should I just count the number of calories i eat in a day and limit them?

Any suggestions would be great!

If so, what is it and what can be done to prevent it.
Example: I worry about getting a 94% in a class even though it is an A.

Is there a way that I can punch hard enough to injure or at least cause slight pain even if I don't have much strength? If so, how? I don't lift weights or anything, but if there isn't any other way to do this, I'll probably start. If I start, how long would it take for me to notice more strength and tone in my arms? Please try to answer both questions! Thanks in advance.

Since I was around 13, my penis reached 6in. long and 4in around the shaft. And since, it hasn't grown a bit. And so I was just wondering, if the size was alright, and why it hasn't grown anymore for 3 years?
