Health - 2 October 2007

As with many I assume, depression makes school difficult for me. It is very difficult to concentrate in class and to do things like focus on homework or reading. It feels like I am often falling behind hopelessly, leaving me in difficult situations. I manage to do pretty well still, but it is a painful and stressful process. Any tips/advice from people who have experienced similar things?

7 months ago i had an abortion
after that i just havent been myself
its supposta be born in october sometime
and i did have depression
i lived of paracetamols
because i thought they would take the pain away
i would take a tub of them to bed with me
i would wish at night that
i would go to sleep and never wake up
i felt like no one would notic if i didnt anyway
but my boyfriend helped me get over that a bit
but im really depressed i started to cut my arms
i havent tols any one
but it almoct gives me a sence of pride
ive never acomplished anything
and seeing blood made me feel like
i had done something right for a change
i dont know why
i get really bad mood swing and
i cry all the time
what can i do to help this i dont like it
and i want to change
i cant go to the doctors
and i cant talk to my family
and i cant get antidepression
so any other surggestion would be great

um.. i woke up on saterday, with my glands bothering me. Its been a few days and my glads are still alittle enlarged and my left side hurts alittle.

After going to the doctor, they said it might be mono, but i dont want to do a blood test.

What do you think? mono or something else. I was tested for strept and it was negative.

There really isnt anything else wrong, no head aches, high temps, problems with my throat, etc..

So what do you think, is there anyway to know without blood test. as i hate needels.

SHE GAVE MY ANTIBIOTICS ANYWAY, JUST IN CASE I WAS GETTING A UTI, SO I SHOULD BE BETTER ANYWAY. SO, WHAT IS THIS PAIN? IT'S PAIN AND PRESSURE SIMILAR TO A UTI. I was playing rugby saturday & went for a big hit, bent my finger right back until it exploded!!! Not pretty! Had internal & external stitches & have no feeling in my finger.

over the past 2 days i ate a whole bag of bananas (about 12) last night i was up every hour with sickness. my mum thinks i might have overdosed on potassium as i only ate bananas and apple juice so it cant have been anything else except that. i originally ate the bananas as i was constipated but i think i ate too many any suggestions

Several years ago, I was told by a doctor that I had a "flapping heart valve". Now, I am kinda worried that the two are related. I am 48 years old. Has anyone experienced this type of medical diagnosis? I won't know anything until after the test on Monday, but have noticed of late that I have palpitations and at night when I am going to sleep that I can actually feel/hear my heart beating really hard. Am I just being overly concerned? Thanks for any responses.

know about reactions to these Or rejection of titanium. Sounds strange but I have a strange body chemistry. If there is a side effect I'll get it (no I don't study side effects beforehand).
From extractions to finished project how much time is involved. I also have to have bone build-up.
Just how painful is all of this. Don't tell me to ask my dentist. I want to talk to ppl who have been there.

I am 25 years old and it seems the older I get the more painful my periods get. I would like to find some natural remedies to help with my menstrual periods. Sometimes my cycles are heavy and other times its medium. I've cut down on my salt and sugar intake as well as my caffeine intake. In past I've tried Ibprofun and Midol and they don't seem to work. I'm not willing to try birth control cause I'm not a believer in birth control. Are there any vitamins and/or supplements or herbs that would help with stomach cramps, irritability, sometimes heavy periods? I already take a multivitamin so is there a certain vitamin that could help?

How can i tell her that her outfit is makes her look fat without her going off the deep end? she's not exactly thin - well not like some of the other models you see with eating disorders - and i don't want to come right out and say "you look fat in that" even though she does. she knew i was into skinny girls when we met, so it shouldn't be a surprise to her that i think she's too big. any suggestions?

one of my really good friends got a concussion on friday, and the past couple days he's been acting like a totally different person. and it's not good at all, he's being pretty mean. can concussions mess with your emotions? can they cause mood swings and stuff?

When I fall asleep at night and lying on my left side, I often ( most nights ) wake up with my left hand asleep. This is agony for a few mins, after shaking it about for a few mins it slowly goes back to normal. This started a few months ago and seems to be becoming more regular and more severe. What could be causing this? I do a lot of computer mouse work ( right handed) I do also somtimes get a bit of a sore neck on the left side.

I think what happened was that I was too hyper(always am) and they asked me about any medications i might be taking and I told them that I was bipolar and taking an antidepressent. Do they have the right to fire me with only the excuse being I dont fit in when 3 days previously the mgr. was saying I was doing wonderful at training. I loved the job and am really hurt by this.
