Here is what works for me.
1. I eat good, tasty, wholesome food. I do not shy away from food that has fat in it (cheese, nuts, avocados and occasionally fried food) because fat is very filling. However, I'm scrupulous about avoiding highly processed foods. This means NO white breads, no "shelf stable" puddings, nothing with high fructose corn syrup, only organic milk, etc. I think chemical additives contribute to obesity.
2. I *really* avoid eating between meals. You should eat enough during your meals to fill you up. If you feel hungry between, have water, coffee, tea or baby carrots. I find that the more often I eat the more my appetite gets stimulated. You need to get in touch with your body's actual hunger, not the "mouth" hunger that happens when you haven't eaten for a few hours.
3. I really make it a practice to listen to my body and get in touch with how it feels. I really practice listening to what my body wants and what will satisfy it. Sometimes I crave milk products...maybe this means my body needs the protein and calcium? Other times only chocolate will do. Many times by having the ONE thing I really want I avoid binging.
4. Aim for balance. Even though I am slim, every once in a while I'll put on a few pounds. I still have to watch things. If I have a heavy lunch, I will have a lighter dinner (e.g. fish). If I feel I've put on a bit of weight I'll avoid richer foods for a few days.
5. Since I don't eat much meat I make a real effort to include protein in every meal. I think this makes a huge difference in feeling full. However, a serving is much smaller than we've become accustomed to in the US. The size of a deck of cards is plenty.
6. Although it's gone out of favor, I really believe in "square" meals with a bit each of veggies, protein, fat and carbs.
7. Finally, if you just HAVE to eat some more, a second or third helping of vegetables never hurt. Cooked in a bit of olive oil they actually taste good!
Hope this helps :)

well what your doing is unhealthy.....first u need top stop doing so much because ur tiring ur body out and its even harder to lose weight when ur tired out...second u need to have a really healthy breakfast....not just a glass of milk and some toast but also i would say toast without any topping some blueberries and strawberries maybe some grapes even and a glass of milk and about half glass of orange juice w/e it is just be creative and make sure its healthy....third find out how many calories u should be taking in a day(you can do this by entering daily calorie calculator in google) and then subtract about 800 calories from that amount, thats how many calories you should take in a day in order to lose about 1-2 pounds a week....fourth exercise in a gym, the machines have calorie counters so you know how many calories you've burned....fifth saunas help but make sure your not in their to long or else you'll get dehidrated...sixth get lots of water approximatley 8 cups of water a day...seventh try finding someone you can lose weight with, it'll be much easier to lose weight with someone and also you can keep each other positive and determined....eighth check your weight on a scale weekly, see the changes, and learn from it (such as is what i'm doing helping? or should i try other things out...etc.)....ninth and the MOST IMPORTANT TIP.....STAY COMMITED AND DON'T GIVE UP ON IT...

First of all you have to realize that weight loss and staying thin and healthy is a way of life. It can't be "I need to lose weight....I need to diet." I have been on Weight Watchers for almost 3 years and the first thing you need to realize is that changing your eating habits and activity habits is a way of life...it's NOT a diet. Go to Weight Watchers. Not only do they teach you how to eat but you get support. Keep going to different meetings until you find one that works for you. Part of the issue may be that you are getting too much activity and not enough food. It sounds weird but it's true...you need to learn balance and they will teach you that at Weight Watchers.

I'm sure you're not fat. But if you don't believe me, do NOT do what you've been doing! Over-exercising messes up metabolism and can actually lead to more weight gain. Just try signing up for ballet, it really helps. And eat celery for a snack instead of something else. Portion your meals according to the recommended amount, no more, no less. And really, do ballet! It helps so much!

IF you are serious, and it sounds serious to me, here's the deal. All those things you named will help you loose WATER weight, which you will get back and some more besides. You need a good healthy eating approach to loosing weight. You know what to do so do it. It is harder to loose the weight that it was to gain it and it takes a while too and you have to keep on a healthy DIET, which we all need to be on. Getter done.

To lose weight you need to diet and exercise. If you reduce your calorie intake by 500 calories, you can lose about a pound a week! Also, try to eat foods low in fat and carbohydrates, and calories. Eat more vegetables and fruits!

aww.. well don't worry ok i was so fat when i was younger... it was sick... i stoped eating bread.... tortillas and any kind of product that contained flour... i started to eat salads for lunch instead of fatning stuff.. salads with romain lettuce.. the one that's really green, tomatoes, onions and one boiled egg... you cut it in little pieces and put it in there...
then get a chicken breast... and grill it... if you don't want to use the grill just place it in a pan.... little salt and pepper but not a lot of salt...
you can use like to add a little flavor do not use ranch dressing or stuff like that those things are fattning.
don't eat sweets... you have to eat at least 5 vegetables a day, and 5 fruits banana is fatning if you want to eat a banana eat half and just once a day. oranges.... they are great.... i get really hungry between dinners and i eat one orange to kill my hunger.....
keep drinking water and exercise that's very healthy for you and good luck i hope you lose a lot of weight ...but remember no bread!!!

Invest some money in a membership to a fitness center and consider getting a personal trainer and change what you eat on a daily basis.

Maybe you are not using det and exercise tips that are appropriate for your body. Get this book. It talks about the types of food that your body (blood type) processes better and worse. You will see that lots of people are eating the wrong foods for them even though they maybe considered healthy ingeneral.

What is your diet like? If you don't take in enough calories your body actually goes into starvation mode and stores fat instead of burning it.
