Okay so my knees are not in pain, but they feel weird...I cannot really describe it..it feels brittle and mabye tight? but not really. When I work out, I feel something...sorry for the bad describing! Maybe it is a strain? lack of vitamens or milk? I play field hockey 2 1/2 hours everyday...I am 5'10" and 130lb. I have no fat but all muscle. Could it be like my muscle that connects to my knee? I feel it more at the bottom of my knee. I also weight lift twice a week. (I eat about 3500 calories a day too) Could it also be my shoes that effect my knees? THANKS!!! in advance ;D

Maybe your knees just needs a little rest.

At nighttime, keep you legs up, this with promote circulation. Or while you are half sitting [with knees extended] locate your patella. This extended position should allow the patella to be moved. Then move that bone either sideways or up-down. This will just improve mobility and flexibility. Do some muscle strengthening exercises too, more of open-kinematic chain exercises [without direct force/weight on your lower extremities] i.e., quads setting, air cycling, or knee extensions while sitting.

Shoes can also affect any abnormalities from the trunk to the lower extremities. But you want to make, better go see a Physical Therapist and have your self assessed and evaluated. Better sure than sorry.

Take it easy! You overdid it. Change your exercise to swimming, or riding a bicycle. The weight lifting and playing hockey are bad for your knees. In addition, you need to take Glucosamine HCL 2000 mg, and chondroitin sulfate sodium 1200 mg daily to take care of your knees. I saw so many patients having knee operations a day. Good Luck. Change your habit quickly to save your knees! What you feel is the early symptoms... Go to a drug store, ask the pharmacist for the medicine.

Could be a dinky little tear in your meniscus. That can make a knee feel "full".
