ok, i am turning 20 this month, and my eye sight is pretty bad and i would like to get rid of the nuisance of contact lenses and glasses. I am aware that laser eye surgery will correct my sight, and i can only do the surgery when im 21.
I am not at all concerned about cost, all i am concerned about is the health and safety aspect, so when im 21, and do the surgery (the one with the latest methods and technology) will it get my eyesight to 20/20 perfect vision? are there any long term effects. sight defects??? will the surgery cause any chnages such as ruduction in colour or night sight or anything like that? basically is it worth the risk?
thanks

I really wonder at times why I'm so sad all the time. It all started when I moved in '04. I didn't miss the old place though - I was kinda glad that I moved from the old apartment that had mold right in the corner where my bed was. For the past years I've been living here, I've never been really happy. I always fake my happiness towards people because I don't want to bring them down by being sad. In school, I was made fun of a lot and teased. I of course, was hurt, and I was constantly angry, but didn't do anything about it (and unfortunately, I hate how I lash out at my family when they don't deserve it on the days that don't go well). I had low self-esteem at the time, but when it continued, my self-esteem and trust in people decreased. I can never be happy and have that enthusiastic feeling that I really want back. Also, I don't know if this has to do anything with it, but I noticed that I'm really lethargic in everything - thinking, moving around, making choices...(continued below)

So tonight I was talking to a friend who has a severe form of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome....and she saw the way that my joints are, and how "flexible" I am and how strechy my skin is. So she commented on the possibility of me being a hypermobile.
I went to the HMS website and got 9/9 on the beighton[sp?] test.
[that consisted of me seeing if I could extend my elbows and knees beyond what was considered normal, pulling my fingers back, touching the floor with my palms [without bending my knees], etc...]
5 out of 7 days of the week, I experience joint pain [in my back, knees, fingers]
I just told my aunt [who is a nurse] about it, and she shrugged it off saying "All the women in our family can do that".
Which is funny because It's HEREDITARY.

so...any doctors out there that can confirm or dismiss my suspicions?
what should I do?

I got a breast augmentation 11 days ago. I was a 36B and went to a 36D (500cc's) with smooth, round Mentor implants placed submuscularly through my crease. I am just wondering how long it will take before my implants begin to settle in the pocket. I am a 24 yr. old physically active female, and as such, have very strong pectoral muscle tissue. My implants ride high right now. (The highest point is about 2 in. from my collarbone. Any info on how LONG it took any other women's implants to start to settle in the pocket would be extremely helpful, and would help with my patience. lol.

So yeah. In my french class Jacy told me his mom had a talk with him and his mom said that herpes gives you warts. And I though... dosent herpes just gives you marks on your face or genitile areas? Or dose it give you a wart as well.

And by the way, I asked him dosent it just gives you marks? And he said it gives you warts.

I'm thinking of getting an iron supplement. I'm 16 and I think I may be deficient because I've had cases recently where I'd feel dizzy after exercising (although not anymore currently) and also I have dark circles under my eyes and I just think I'm not getting enough iron for my age. But I've read that it is easy to overdose on iron. How much % DV can make you overdose?

Last night, I woke up at 5 AM with that kind of pain described in my question (it was so bad, I couldn't lie down) It went away after about 30 minutes, then I ended up vomiting, and it came back twice as bad. It went away again, I puked again, and the pains came back. It went exactly like that for two hours until it finally settled down enough for me to go back to sleep. Since then, it has gone away, but I'm still wondering: what was going on? Any advice is accepted.

I'm 5'5''. Maybe 5'6'' now but I really don't want to be taller than this and I'm pretty sure that I'm still growing. Because I'm thirteen and a half. My mom is 5'6'' and my feet are a little bit bigger than hers so she said that means I'm probably going to be taller than her and I don't want to be taller than that.

How can I stop growing? Is there a pill or anything that can help?

I am a 20 year old woman and it seems that now-a-days guys expect a girl to be sexually involved once they are in a relationship. It's just not for me. I realized that guys these days don't tend to respect the girls they go out with if they are sexually involved which I think its truly messed up and I'm not trying to fall into that trap. I refused to be used and abused by any guy.

I have 3 kids, 4yr old, 3yr old 4 mo old. I work full time. So I'm always busy. At work I only get a lunch break. I never eat breakfast because I always have to get myself and my kids ready right before work. I have found myself eating one meal per day. I'm always really busy. Once I get off work I have to make dinner. And by the time I'm done feeding the kids I have to get everything ready for tomorrow. By the time I get my self to bed I realise I haven't ate anything. But than I'm too tiered and just go to bed. So I have noticed that I have lost a significant amount of weight. My coworker says I look like I lost around 10lbs in a couple of weeks. I get hungry but nothing looks good. I find myself forcing food in my mouth. But then I feel like my body wants to reject it. I don't vomit but it feels like thats what my body wants to do. Its not like I want to loose weight. I have a very fast matabolism so even if i were to stuff my face I never really gain weight. What should I do?
