Ideal Measurements for Runway models?

I really want to be a runway model but I'm not sure if I'm right for it. height: 5'8"
bust: 30"
waist: 23"
hips: 30"
What are the ideal measurements for runway models?

If you go to the forums, you can ask the people there any questions you'd like. But, generally, the ideal measurements are:

Height: 5'9"( sometimes 5'8") to 5'11"

Bust: 31-34"

Waist: 22-24"

Hips: 31-35"

So, you're pretty good, maybe even slightly too thin. Also, models normally have thin thighs, around 18", give or take. Good luck!

I just wanted to ask if any of you guys know how skinny you're saying she should be. Here's some pictures of Lily Cole, a top teen supermodel:

As you can see, she's pretty thin. And her measurements are 31-23-35. Alex is even thinner than her. Lily Cole's a size 0/1 while Alex is smaller than a size 00. Plus, to have the bust and hip measurements of 25-28" she would have to have the bone structure of a 6-9 year old. Runway models aren't that small. The smallest they get is probably 30". Also, swimwear and lingerie models probably have bust measurements of 33-35".

Health: Who cares as long as you are thin...... *rolls eyes*

Obviously you are more than thin enough, IMO you are way too thin.

For a runway model, you're on the short side. most are at least 5'10''. And your waist is small, but I know that the hips and bust of a runway model are generally smaller than that (25-28) believe it or not. To be naturally the size of a runway model is very rare.

Unless you want to do lingerie or swimsuit runway. Usually they want bigger bust and hips (still small, like 30'') To help fill out the suit and give you curves and sex appeal.

To get to be a famous and successful model, you have to be in the top 1% of the top 1% of all models. So good luck!
