i ask that because i have heard that the herpes virus is defeated by our immune system, but the virus is very small and has the ability to hid in the nerve cells in the spine, and the white blood cells cant get to them there, until there is a stress reaction that causes them to come out.

Were else does the herpes virus hide?

they can do no exercise and eat junk and still be fit because of good genes? I thought that whatever your genes are, you're still screwed if your lifestyle is unhealthy, but I look around and it seems this is not always true :/

When both of my kids moved out, I was upset. I had the empty nest syndrome. I cried off and on and I still get lonely, but not as bad as I was 5 months ago. My son came to visit and it was nice having him here.
My daughter came home for a visit at the same time, and I couldnt wait for her to leave. It brought back old memories of her drama and her immaturity. She started manipulating almost from the minute she walked in the front door.
I thought she was going to end up spending another nite here and I just wanted her to go home. She has put me thru a lot. It was so bad my 22 y.o. son will not even talk to her. He ignores her. I try to be good and kind, but she knows how to rattle my chain. There is still a lot of untold anger here.
Do you think I am abnormal or do most parents want their kids to get on with their lives?

I guess the issue is that when i was like 10, I ate all the foods most little kids do. but i never changed. i was never really in situations to try new things. I went to a very calm highschool, not full of drinking and drugs and all that. i'm not relgious but grew up with many friends who were. So now I'm 22, dont drink any alchol, dont eat salads, fish, forgien cusine, I could go on. now when i go out to eat or go out with a girl to a bar like enviorment. i'm looked at like i'm wierd. I've tried most of these foods and they just don't appeal to me, i seem to only like the foods i grew up on like chesseburgers, pizza, pasta, chicken, soda & juices, and things of that nature. Is there a way that over time my tastes will change so i can enjoy a more adult varitey of foods or is this just how it is with me.

Why does my vision get blurry sometimes whenever I try to read a book or when reading?
My eyes cant seem to focus, and my vision gets all blurry. It usually corrects itself when I move back, buts sometimes whenever I try to read, my vision will get blurry, sometimes I feel like im looking at it cross-eyed.

yesterday, while having sex with my boyfriend, the condom broke. I am currently taking diane-35, on day 3, but the second day i was a bit late n took it after 12 hours...should i take prostinor as added precaution? or would it screw up my cycle since i just started a new pack of diane-35?is it ok to take prostinor while on diane? please help!

My cat lives in the garage. All day she has been crying for attention. It's almost bedtime so I went into the garage to get the last of the laundry and decided to let her get on my lap.

She doesn't like to be held. She was sitting there purring and kneeding my pj's with her paws while I petted her. Suddenly she whipped around and bit me real hard. I was bleeding all over the place. My wife and I know a girl that is 5 months pregnant and suffering seizures. She is taking the word of her OBGYN that it is merely diabetic seizures and that there is no harm. He doesn't have her tested and she takes his word for it. We are telling her that she needs to see a real neurologist (I have seizures) and not someone who has no experience in this field.
She's trying to tell us that her having seizures will not hurt that baby in the slightest. Somebody out there tell us every hazard possible that this baby will and can suffer as a direct result of her neglecting to see a neurologist.

Okay, i've been experimenting on my pubic hair, i've been washing them with shampoo and conditioner, but only for this month now, i thoguht if i did it would be like soft hair on meh head :]. but so far thats not the case :l. DOes anybody know if it will even BECOME soft or if pubic hair is naturally like hard and annoying...and theres nothing you can do about it?

I have hairy puerto rican legs. Why must i have these ugly things. does anyone know how i can get rid of alot of the hair wihtout me having to shave it and have it get even darker and worse! i hate them and everyones saying that now. its ONLY around my ankles and i HATE it. its even worse when i'm wet! because my legs are like..Black from the hair. if i eat healthier foods that are good for the hair, will they look better? because they get fuzzy and its annoying and ugly.

For the past 6 months I've been so disgusted with fat that I've ate the minimal amount of food that I could get by on (usually a maximum of 300 calories a day, to which I worked off at the gym) But I want to get back to eating the 1,500 calories a day. If I jump back into eating 1,500 per day, will I gain weight or should I gradually climb up to the suggested caloric intake?

I'm 21 years old, 5'1" and weigh 110 lbs, my BMI is 21.5. I work out but not excessivly (30 min/day). I keep my daily calories between 1750-2000 (mostly healthy stuff). I have a good job, awesome boyfriend, and no issues w/ finances since I still live with my parents. I have verry little stress except for homework since Im in college.

My question is with this lifestyle and stress level...why do I binge eat 1-2 times per week...Im talking huge binges here about 5,000 calories if I could estimate but it could be a bit more or less. This has been going on for 3 years. I have gained weight since I used to weigh 102 (still healthy cause I'm short). I've been to doctors but none of them seem so be able to figure it out. I've also had blood work done and everything came back normal.

I hate this because I wake up the day after a binge and I feel horrible, ugly, antisocial, and actually in physical pain. Why does it happen and how can I make it stop?

I am a 20yr old female. I have a fast heart rate all of the time. My cardiologist who im seeing now trys a different pill every time i go see him. I have symptoms that go along with the fast heart rate such as: passing out, palpitations, chest pain, and lightheadedness. Out of about 3 different ones, nothing has helped and the symptoms persist and some have even gotten worse such as the chest pain and palpatations. Has anyone else had this problem or knows of someone who had this problem? Im just frustrated becuase nothing seems to be working

My teeth are hurting and I have no insurance as of now. I am not covered at work since i am considered part time. My boss is actually in the same situation as she hasn't been with the company for the mandatory period of time...3 months I think. She told me I can buy coverage on the side. But how soon can I use my coverage? And is it like a cell phone contract where you gotta sign on for x number of years? thanks!
