I am wanting to get braces soon to straighten my teeth out, but I am a little afraid that its going to hurt real bad. I know that everybody's pain tolerence is different but I would like to know from the people whp have braces or who have had them done how it felt. like how much pain there was?
I also was wondering how its done? ( getting the braces)

Please help me I really want to get them done!

I have these 2 surgeries 2 weeks and a few days ago and I have now come back to UK as i had it done in India, the operation went well (thank god). no infection caught. I am doing very well I held my baby yesterday no pain and am doing really well but the doctor told me not to take my dressings off till Wednesday next week but am dying for a good damn shower and he also told me that at the end of the day it was up to me cause i can judge my body better than any one.

I wondered if it was about time I took my dressings off and wear my clothes but obviousely I will put something on my stiches (which is nearly healed) to avoid my clothes material rubbing against my stiches. would you say it was safe? I had a shower once before but that was only an exception the doctor allowed since I was within hours going back to the hospital to get a new new dressings on.

am doing rather well and its those desolvebale stiches and mt skin is attached together already. please any advice.

See it doesn't always matter with guys, but when a girl is fat... like me... people find it disgusting. There are different rules for fat girls--no eating in public, even if it's something healthy, and if a fat girl looks like she's trying to lose weight it's still bad.

I wear glasses and have very blurry vision.. I'm short sighted.. without them... But just in the last week I have been seeing these strange bright flashes of white light about 2 times a day... Sometimes with my eyes open sometime shut.. I also see spots out of the corners of my eyes like there is a spider on the wall or something.. Mum reckons it could just be something to do with a nerve or something... What could it be?? Serious answers only thanks!!

I mean GOD made you the way you are! You should be proud of who you are. Don't worry about what other people think. IF you want to look better than you are the only person that can do it. Nobody else can do it for. So stop sulikng and live life to the FULLEST.

O and by the way just so you know that you aren't gettin told by some skinny mean person I am over weight to. I feel for you but you'll be OK.

He is on every single "recreational" drug you can possibly think of

One night i get a message from him saying "i need to see you, i just wanna hold you" so i let him come over and talk to him for a bit and thats all good

Then i msg him 2 weeks later to see how he is doing and he goes "sorry to say this but F *** OFF!!"

So i left it alone and didnt say anything to him and then the next day he says to me "sorry for the abuse figured it all out and its no more fun all the white has left only black till the end dont bother writing back have a good life and hope you find success"

I know that he is messed up because of the all the drugs that he is doing but my problem is i already have depression and all the rest of it so i want to help him but i cant because he pushes me back into my depression.

But im worried about him .. i know his parents pretty well, do you think i should tell them whats going on with him ? because i cant handle him anymore...

okay this is really embarassing to me but okay I did the birthcontrol shot for 6 months. it was supposed to stop in may and this past month i just got my first real period that lasted 2 weeks but since it has stopped i have been spotting dry blood until today, it started coming out like a period but its almost black but looks like its dry but its clumpy and gooey and its really started to put a damper on my mood and my sex life. I just want it to stop or know what is going on with my body, and when will it stop?

I justed turned 19 and have grown like an 1/2 of an inch in the past year. However my growth as always kind of been steady, during my growth spurt I grew a little over 2 inches. I was a 5'8 at 18. 87, now I am exactly 5'9.40. I grew a half an inch. Can I push out 5'11. , my mom is 5'4 and my dad is is exactly 6 feet Both of my grandfathers were roughly 6 feet. My dads mom is 5'6 1/2 and moms moms is 5'2 1/2- with a 6'2 dad, but her mom was 4'11. My dad sisters and there kids are all tall. Can I grow, and also at age 2 I was precicted to be 6'1. Something interesting my dad has REALLY short legs but a long torso, so do I. During your growth spurt you put height on in your legs not your spine. My growth spurt was 2 inches, very small on my legs. After that all of your height is put in your spine.

Hello, I've had my period for 4 years. I got it at a very young ag - 10. Recently I have been having pains on my hipline. They come and go. Its like theres no pain and then all of a sudden BAM. Originally this was only on the right side but it has started on the left side. Does it sound like I have a cyst on my ovary?? Here are some symptoms

* pain sometimes goes higher than hipline
* I had appendix out 2 months ago and they found a bag of fluid with very poisonous and infectous fluid around appendix
* get tired really easy
* Pain goes on to back and inner thigh

I am seeing my doctor on thursday. In the meantime I was wondering if anyone has been through this or can tell me what my symptoms mean. I have a few ideas:
cysts, bag of fluid again, something went wrong in operation ect...
Please help ASAP

This is the strory:
a pimple on my nose got rubbed against and poped. the blood seemed to have spread underneath the skin, causing a scar. Few days later, the top skin layer seemed to peel off leaving an open wound, not to deep. Then the skin healed, leaving a dark coloured scar. Dried up blood has been peeling off as well but left behind a huge, noticeable scar. What can i do about this? and if the skin peels again, what can i do to the peeled skin, that isnt so deep, to prevent future scarring?

Boy do I realize what an addiction food has been for me!

When bored.

So I got off all that, stopped the pop, stopped ordering pizza and now I have slowy sunk into the "I've worked hard, I can have this a litt,e that a little."

I have gained back 5 pounds. So now I have 55 more to lose. Please help me!!!!

Ok im only 14 && ive cried 3 times out of last week. But those 3 times ive been practicley cried at school. My teacher told me ''whats wrong?" I tell her " I dnt know." And its like i cry for no reason. Then she told me that this year ive been more emotional than last year. (( 7th grade ))
