If its just like pink skin, I would say it'll be fine. If it was going to scar badly the skin would most likely look irritated, so if it scars at all it will fade and be barely noticeable. But I'd recommend Bio Oil. You can get it in health shops or chemists, or probably Tescos actually....I'm not quite sure how it works other than moisturising the skin deeply and supposedly preventing collagen (the chemical which causes skin to scar) but it does work to fade scars or make healing cuts less likely to scar!

Once the wound has been healed, apply rosehip oil. This advertised on TV and that's where in bought it from. I'm sure it's available in your local drugstore.
I used to have the same problem on legs after burning from waxing. The scar disappeared after 3 weeks.

nothing until it heals. then use mederma on it 3 times a day for a couple of weeks, it should be fine. I got a 2nd degree burn on my fingers back in 4th grade and did nothing but bandage it and popped the blister; now, years later, I can't see any scar at all.

Use antibiotic cream on it until it scabs over then use pure vitamin E oil. When I had surgery, the DR told me to use the oil to prevent scaring.

If its an open wound and a burn at that, please keep antibiotic ointment on it. Burns are very susceptible to infection. Neosporin will keep it clean and reduce scarring.
