85+ female, blood tests show no deficiency so why then has she suffered cramping for 3+ years

Call a health food store. See what they recommend. OR, call a pharmacist. They know more about that kind of thing than most doctors! Good luck. I hope there is help for this woman. I hate to see unnecessary suffering. :)

Sounds like your body is lacking Magnesium, go to a druggist and ask for a supplement in liquid form. Take one dose a day. For cramping in hands, run them under warm water and massage them out. Good Luck

My mom was also frequently deficient in potassium, so you could try that. Is she taking a multivitamin? Bananas and prunes are higher in potassium.

Try quinine...such as tonic water. The only other possibility is calcium citrate when you go to sleep. Good Luck

dehydration is a possibility, maybe b12 deficiency which they usually don't test for
