How do I know that this is accurate. We have never seen him have one, and the eeg test lasted about 25 minutes and he wasn't asleep. Right before the test they gave him resperdal .25 mg. They prescribed depakote, I gave hime to dose, but he started acting very violent, he was haveing violent tantrums which he never had before. So I took him off, now he acts like himself no more violent tantrums. What should i do?

The reason I ask this is because I used to be anorexic & I want to make sure that I am the not too heavy & not too thin.
The reason I say used to be anorexic is because I do not see myself as overweight any more. At 144 pounds I look & feel thinner (and healthier) than I ever have.

Age 21
Height 5'6
Weight 144 pounds
US Size 8 pants (I like my pants a little lose so that they are comfortable)

I also have a question about anorexia.
If at one time I thought I was overweight, is it possible that I could think I am thin when I am not?

He has no past history of allergies but father is allergic to very humid weather, grand father has asthma. Is his cough related to weakining of his health due to schooling or anything else. Presently we give him Zertec or some other cough syrups which puts him to sleep. I have started giving warm ginger syrup & honey in the morning. Any sugesstions.

I have had depression for 4 years and self harmed for that time (im 17 now ) , I recently went to get help and got perscribed prozac (in July/August) after I had my abortion (in April) as I attemted suicide and self harmed again wich was straining me and my boyfriends (of 2 years) relationship but then my family fell apart my dad was pretending to want to come back to the family for months and he told us he was seeing someone else and had been for two months. Since then I havnt smiled at all, I feel empty and its really hurting my boyfriend as anything he says I take to offence for weeks on end eg: Youd suit blonde hair, I just dyed it purple and he said it look s h i t and his ex was blonde, but now Im not eating through the day just breakfast and evening I spill drinks out so it looks like I drank it when Im out and when my boyfriend gives me food I hide it, but I eat when I get home and have a good meal but am 8.5 stone and size 10 jeans and 6-8 tops whats going on???

It comes and goes, it feels like they are asleep, you know? I know that these are symptoms of serious things but I'm 26 years old and in good health good shape! Should I go to the doctor asap or wait for an appointment when I get home next week?

I am 37 and have 2 children. I also have endometriosis which I have had a laparoscopy done to remove the endo prior to having my kids. The endometriosis is starting to come back, as I'm starting to be uncomfortable and My dr. says if I have another lap He'd take my uterus out too (keep the ovaries so no menopause). Now I am done having kids but for some reason want to keep my uterus (husband had a vasectomy; we're REALLY done); How would i talk my doctor into just doing another lap. and leaving the uterus?? Can I insist that I keep it?

To everyone who answered my last question about suicide thank you for the replies - please note i have seen a psychiatrist, have been in hospital and spoken to counsellors and am on effexor - antidepressant. I am not saying it for pity i am just desperate and tired of mental and physical pain in my life.

Some people said they recovered from fibromyalgia but there was no email address to reply - if so how did you do it and did the tiredness ever go?

does anyone recommend anyone in the uk to see about this??

Over the counter allergy medication usually have one of three problems; It doesn't work, it makes me hyper, or it makes me sleepy. I need something that works and does not make me hyper sleepy. i am allergic to dust/pollen/feathers. Thanks.

But I'm only hiding it because I'm on a really good healthy diet now, no "out" food, no junk, and I'm exercising regularly but sometimes a woman just NEEDS some chocolate. I know giving into a little chocolate occasionally isn't bad. I hide it because my husband gorges himself on any sweets he can get. He is getting severely overweight and hates when I make a comment about "Are you sure you want to eat that?" but, not like that. Like, nicer. Lol. He just... I feel like he's self destructive, and I don't want to have NO chocolate at all, but I can't regulate his - I'm not his mother!!! - he has no self control and I have seen him eat a sleeve of oreos like nothing, with our son's whole milk when we were out of our skim. Yuck! He eats ice cream, cookies, anything! I just want my own goodies to treat myself, not come home after work and eat everything we have in the house so that it's gone. You know? What do I do? Keep chocolate hidden, or gone entirely? How do I approach him about this?

I have a urinary tract infection so I stopped drinking caffeine.
This morning I got the shakes and a mild headache.

I had a headache for 2 days now. It started yesterday morning around 10 when I was sitting at work, in front of the computer, it came on all of a sudden. I thought maybe because I didnt eat, but even after eating peanutbutter crackers my head still was pounding. Then later I had Chicken sandwhich, my head was still throbbing. Than later for dinner I had pink salmon, my head was still hurting me. My eyes also went blurry, and I got to the point where I had to hold my head in my hands and close my eyes for a few seconds. I thought I was having a stroke but I am only 25.

I have had a uti for over a month ( almost 2) now ( I am not sure why i just cant seem to get rid of it I have had three anitbitics and none of them have worked they fix it for a few days at the begining then it comes back) but now I dont know it might be gone but i am still in pain sometimes and the pain is now up above my right hip ( and also in the lower abdomon) soemtiems it isnt that bad though , and I am getting really dizzy alot and everytime i lay down to go to sleep i feel like I am going to be sick my question is could this be the uti just getting worse or should I be more worried and should i go back for another doctors appoment and get another antibitic that prolly wont work ( I am going to after hours clinics for these becasue i cant get an appiment with my doctor until the 29 becasue he is on vaction) or should i just wait until the 29th and see my docotr? well what do you guys think sorry about the length of this and thnaks for eveeyone willing to help!
