YES!! I have one and it's brilliant. More comfy than tampons and you don't get that horrible plugged up feeling. And you don't have to change them often - once every 12 hours, minimum.
Don't listen to JadedRuby, it's obvious she wasn't doing it right and is making a wildly OTT claim. Also, i think she needs to do her kegels. A leaking cup is a sign your muscles inside aren't tight enough to hold the thing in place properly.

I haven't used one of these but years ago, I tried the cervical cap as a method of contraception. I assume the Moon Cup operates much the same way by blocking the entrance to the cervix. I didn't have much difficulty inserting it but certainly did when I tried to remove it. One thing I learned that day was about the amount of secretions that come out even when I'm not menstruating. When I finally got the cap off, a whole bunch of whitish fluids gushed out. It grossed me out and I never used the cap again. I can't imagine how much worse it would be to have blood and tissue on top of that. Basically, the Moon Cup is a good idea for those who are not squeamish but for those who are, tampons or pads are better.

I tried something similar years ago. I can't remember what it was called ....maybe "instea"....or something like that. Anyway.....what a royal pain in the keester. Talk about having to fish around for something. If you start leaking...at the movies? Try changing and "rinsing" that puppy at a public sink. All I know is there was less mess when I passed the last level of Resident Evil 4. What a bloody mess. All I can say is......it seemed like a good idea. maybe others have had a better experience. All my husband could say was..."Aren't you glad I got a vasectomy.....so you don't have to mess around with a sponge?"
I say stick to de tampons.....unless you just really want to try it...lol.

just now I have.
(I found your question on Google lol)
Right now, I'm looking for alternatives. I already use the Instead soft cup and I love that I don't have to change them every too often.
Anyway, anythng is better than pads and tampons.....but i do use light tampons on lighter days or to "dry up".
Back to your question, from what I READ, they do but they are expensive.
