You need to make an appt with a Urologist. Your doctor will have someone assigned to cover his load while gone. Call his office and get an appt with that doctor then have him refer you to a Urologist.

How is the UTI being diagnosed? Are you peeing in a cup and they are diagnosing in the clinic? Or are they sending the sample out? A urine culture with sensitivities should be done if a UTI is resistant to antibiotics. Chronic UTI's occasionally need to be treated with IV antibiotics, I'd try another kind perhaps what you've been on is appropriate for the bacteria causing it.

I'm in the US and I know things are done different here but it sounds as if you may have an ovarian cyst or PID. Perhaps your doctor can order an ultrasound to see if there is something else going on. I don't know of any reason that a UTI would cause you to be dizzy/nauseous.

hope you feel better soon!

Its not uncommon for people to develop a chronic UTI, and your symptoms are typical of a chronic UTI. Since the treatments haven't worked, maybe now is a good time to see a different doctor - which should be a urologist. There is probably no way an after-hour clinic will be able to treat this properly unless they are staffed with a urologist - which is very unlikely. Its probably time to start over, see a urologist, and start with a complete set of diagnostics.

Go in and have the uti removed and get on another antibiotic. Something isn't right and letting things like this go is extremely dangerous.

You might also want to start drinking cranberry juice several times a day (builds up the immune system), drink lots of water to flush toxins out of your system and start taking 8 to 10 garlic capsules every day. Garlic also builds up the immune system and right now, yours is in peril big time.

Stay away from yeast and sugars as much as possible because they feed the bacteria. Antibiotics can also feed infections so request another antibiotic when you go in (you may have built up immunity to the other one you were on ~ I have done that in the past) and continue to take the garlic capsules to try and fight this off.

You can take garlic every day for the rest of your life to keep your immune system stronger. Earlier this year I was coming down with a sinus infection so I started back into my garlic capsules and took Claritin D and the infection was gone the next day. In your case, it may take longer so take them even when you get to feeling better.

And remember, infections can kill and they can damage other organs so get to someone right away. Good luck and God bless
