My 10 y/o son has a "severe Overbite" per his dentist and said that an Orthodontist may even have to break his jaw to correct this. If this is done, is it done under a general? Is it an inpatient procedure or out patient? Is there anyway that regular medical insurance can be used to pay for this? I don't have dental but do have really good health insurance.

I train at a gym which only has machines. No barbells or dumbells at all. When I do low rows and shrugs (both on the low row machine) my grip starts to give out when I could still do a few more reps. Whats the best way to strengthen my forearms and grip using machines? Or is there something I could do at home?

I've got a bit of a toothache in one of my bottom molars, it's been there a few days now, it's not REALLY bad, I've been taking ibuprofen which has helped, but it doesn't seem to be getting any better.

Thing is, I was only at the dentist in July and he said I didn't have any cavities, so what's causing this toothache? Is it possible that I've developed a cavity in this short a space of time? I've never had any problems with my teeth, never had any fillings etc.

ok well im not gonns lie to you, i am only 12 years old and i have a friend who has a friend that spent the night the same night i did. so the guy is a pervert and i mentioned this in another question but i said i was 14. well truth be told i think he might have done something to me in my sleep and i have already started my first period but only one time have i had one. i cant tell my mom well im scared to but i mean that is because im 12 and i cant take a hpt. what do i do?

Well, anyway i have noticed i have many 'odd cool' tallent's like i can move my ears, nose,scalp, and i can suck air threw my tear ducts. Anyway i want to know is there anyone els that can do this?? Because on Ripleys Believe it or Not there was a guy who can blow out of it and suck threw his ducts, and i had a friend who could do it to. i want to know how i could further develope this buy shooting water out of my duct, or blow out of it (i can only breath threw it rt now :-\) help :-)

or atleast fractured
cuz i can move it but it hurts sometimes
and if i push down on it with my pointer finger it hurts more
but i dont know if it's broken/fractured
i CAN move it
and its normal color but it hurts
any one with experience........does this sound broken?

I'm in 11th grade and am experiencing extreme fatigue lately. I always get to bed around 10 or 11ish and am up around 7, so I get my full 8 or 9 hours sleep. However, in school, I can barely concentrate. I fell asleep in math class today and my eyes are always watery and I just wanna go to bed. I'm on prozac for depression right now, but i dont think it's that cuz it's getting better. How can I stop this? School is hell cuz I cant even work!

Hi, I am currently living with a relative of mine who suffers from bi-polar, I have not had constant contact with this relative over the years but they are staying with me and my family for a few months while their house gets sorted. I'm 39 at the moment. I can honestly say that I haven't felt my age yet. I feel nearly as fit and actually stronger than when I was 20. My posture is bolt upright and I have a very good state of health. It seems at the moment that there will be no end to it!

I have a prominent bulge and binular degeneration in my L5-S1 and minimul bulge in my L3-L4.
That is what my MRI states.

I'm 6 feet tall, 160 lbs or so. I work out 3 times a week and eat healthy. I don't drink anything except water. There are days when I wake up and my face looks puffy and fat almost swollen. I look nothing like myself. This lasts for a few days then I go back to normal. Then 1 week later it will happen again. It's not allergies. I've had a blood test. I'm thinking fluid retention, maybe? Are there pills for this. Sometimes I pop a Motrin and it helps, but Motrin isn't good for the stomach. Has anyone else experienced anything similar....greatly appreciate any answers...

I've been on Yaz for a couple months, for those who dont no how yaz works its where you stop taking active pills on a wed, instead of the sunday b4. well last month I stopd taking it wed and decided last minute i didnt want to get my period so i startd a new pack on saturday, sunday and monday. then monday i just stoped taking it so i would just get my period. I got my period and i let it run for a week. ( with yaz you are only suposed to have your period for 2-3days) now im 2 days late this month and im wondering if i just screwed it up. I've had sex but i've used condoms everytime. do you think its just going to be messed up this montha nd b late?
