What happens when you go into the Hospital for a stroke?

My grandma just went in for a stroke i dont havemuch contact with my family can anyone tell me what happens step by step or what can happen and how long can she be in the hospital and what will they be doning to her in her stay? what will happen after when she is released ..please help......thank you

Advise her to take medications regularly, and avoid fat, salt and fried food. This is the best you can give.
