Yes and it worked. I quit smoking in march 2001 thanks to acupuncture. I also had pinched nerve ends after i got whip-lashed and after a few months of acupuncture it was gone.
My husband suffers from MS and he finds it helps his energy levels. He used to get it twice a week, then reduced to once a week, once a month now he just maintains it with once every three months. He swears by it. Check out this website.

Actually, my dog did it. She had a stroke about a year ago and when she started walking again, they suggested acupuncture. Its to my understanding that acupuncture has various uses, but she needed it to reach the muscles that she couldnt use to help prevent atrophy (muscle loss). Basically, they were able to "activate" and "use" the muscles in her leg that she had no control over. (She was paralyzed from the waist down from a stroke called Fibrocartiligenious Embolism)

I tried it for severe neck pain and it didn't work but I now go to an osteopath and had acupuncture for painful wrists and it worked this time. I think it is down to the practitioner.

I tried this once and being the old sceptic that I am wasn't sure it would work. I was having a bad bout of sciatica which meant I could hardly walk. Acupunture was offered and I thought I'd give it a shot. It din't hurt and within minutes the pain had gone. Make sure you go to a properly qualified person as I have no doubt that if not done right it could make it worse. I would recommend it.

I was recommended to try by the nurse at work for some muscular and arthritic pain and problems with limited joint movement I was having and although I was dubious about its usefulness I went along with her because the firm was paying.
I must have had about 20 sessions and although I sometimes felt like a pin-cushion I can honestly say that it had no effect whatsoever.

Yes, for snoring and once again for back pain. Both times felt great after leaving the treatment and the recondition recurred in an hour or so. Totally useless for these conditions. What a ripoff!

I tried it to help control my Tourettes. It didn't work, unfortunately.
But I have several friends who have tried it for morning sickness, back ache, stomache cramps, etc, and it's worked wonders for them.
It's always worth a try, as it doesn't harm you, and it doesn't really hurt.

Does it work? Ask the Chinese who have been using it for 4000 years.
