Health - 5 September 2007

I get muscle cramps all over my body. I drink plenty of water, take a multivitamin, and I am active. My doctor has done a full blood work check and everything was fine and doesnt seem to be doing anything else about it. They are in my stomach and side, neck, hands, fingers, legs, feet, toes, back...well all over my body! Has anyone else experienced this? Its getting to the point that I cant even pick my daughter up without getting a cramp somewhere :(

What if someone has these problems:

-Sleep Problems (ie cant sleep at night, little sleep, too much sleep, trouble getting to sleep)
-Some depression
-Weight Gain
-Trouble losing weight
-Irritability
-Mood Swings
-Mostly regular periods, but an occasional odd one.
-Stress
-Feeling low, then feeling happy

Any idea if this may be some medical condition? Websites would be helpful, as well as actual doctors and or nurse input.

My mamaw and i were really close. We had a very special relationship. She passed away of lung cancer last december and i still can't get over it. Today i found some old phone calls saved on the computer. So being the curious person i am, i open one up and listen to it. who's voice to i hear? my mamaws. I immeadity start bawling. Do you have have any suggestions on coping with death, i having a really tough time with it. I want to move on but i cant. :'(

I'm planning on losing about 25 lbs. over the course of about 3 months, give or take a few days. I'm completely dedicated to whatever it takes, exercising, etc. I just need tips on the absolute best foods to eat while I diet to lose weight the most efficiently. I know all that stuff about fiber, etc. I just need the actual names of the best foods for me to eat up to 1000-1200 calories a day. I know, I know, I should be getting at least 1200 blah blah and it's not healthy for only 1000 colories or your body thinks you're starving it-- tell me something I don't know: what are the absolute best foods for a diet to lose about 10 pounds each month.

I live in the state of Kentucky. I am in a serious relationship and have thought of all the factors and I've made my decision. I am 15 years old. I know you might think I'm too young, but I have considered that.
I need to get on birth control, but my parents aren't understanding enough to let me have sex.

should i refuse the treatment offered and complain that its not the 'right' therapy for my disorder? or should i accept what is being offered?

My friend is around 63 and all of a sudden for the past few months has had nervewracking twitching in her one eye. She has been to eye doctors, regular doctors, and even a chiropractor and none of them can identify or cure this twitching. Any ideas on what it could be.

She weighs 165 & is 5 foot 7. She complains about being fat but then eats greasy fatty foods in house or fast food. I don't know wth to tell her. She is going to have high cholesterol if NOT already & she also smokes & it PAINS me how she just doesn't take care of herself. She is my only family. When she is gone I have no1. I have noticed that when I wash my hands and dry them on cloth towels, the towels turn a very bright yellow color. Well, I just did laundry, and noticed the same very bright yellow on the left sides of my shirts--not under the arms, but down the sides of my tank tops. Ordinarily, I would think it was perspiration, but this yellow is such a bright, odd color that I'm worried something is wrong with my body chemistry. Also, I don't sweat that much and this issue has only sprung up recently. Any ideas? We did get a water softener recently, but that's the only change I can think of in our water.

I have been dealing with HS now for several years. As of the last 2-3 years, the outbreaks under my arms have gotten ridiculous. I often have open wounds that tend to seep and I was wondering how treat the wounds. Bandaids don't work and it is very hard to tape gauze to your underarms. Lately, when I have had seepage I have been just tucking napkins under my arms but there has got to be a better way to keep it dry and avoid getting it on my clothing. Any suggestions?

Going through a stressful time at the moment, with my Husband thinking or resigning and working for himself. We are also selling a house and may have to move out of the house we live in. We also have to travel a fair bit.

I'm just worrying about all the things that could go wrong. Would it be better to just forget about it and bury my head in the sand? Just let my husband deal with it all?

Ok I once talked with my friends about shaving under my arms (armpits) they said it’s for girls and guys do it if they r only gay...
well I really do hate the hair under my hands I find it sometimes ugly there and when I sweat I would really have bad smell and my t-shirts would smell bad to.
anyway I just shaved under my arms for the first time like 5-6 days ago and I was wondering if what my friends was right is it for girls and gay ppl that do it (I aint gay)?

I have hair on my legs, under my arms, near my belly button and my private part lol

well I trim the part of my penise,the belly button and legs don’t bother me at all but under my arms gets me my nerves especially when I go swimming.

So were my friends right or wrong?
Do gay ppl and girls just do it?

i recently had 2 miscarriages so i decided to go on the depo shot....2day i received my first depo shot...i took a nap for about an hour after i got my shot and now i feel like complete crap!! I have a severe headache, nausia, weakness and dizziness... Please any help and advice is greatly appreciated..thanks in advance!

recently i was watching the news. there was an piece about children becoming more and more obese. a parent thought that they had come up with the good idea of hiring someone to help there child loose weight. this sounded all good until she said that this person would be doing all the things she sould be doing, like playing ball, etc.
the reason why kids are obese today is the parents falts. there is no fat or skinny "gene". it is because the parents are too lazy to make sure there kids are eating right and getting exersice.

Im taking ortho tryclylen lo but last month i didnt take the (sugar pills) inactive pills or this month neither, but I still wait 6 days to take the white ones. I havent gotten my period this month yet, i did last month though, is this normal? Thanks!

What am I supposed to do when I am extremely sick and my Dr. will not return my calls? Not even my Dr. it is the triage nurse. I have a breast infection and the longer you go with out treatment the worse it gets. I have left 3 messaged in the last 24 hours and have not gotten a call back. All I need is an antibiotic.
