You can't get it all out, because your body needs it. It grows naturally in your colon, mouth, and vagina. Your body has a natural balance or microorganisms and the yeast is one of them. When they become unbalanced, and the yeast is allowed to grow freely, it creates problems.

One of the easiest ways to cause the imbalance is to take antibiotics. The yeast is one of the strongest microorganisms that we have and is not affected by the drugs, but when the weaker microorganisms are killed by the antibiotics, the yeast takes over.

If you are having a problem with yeast, avoid sugar and other foods with yeast. Eat foods that have complex carbohydrates, and plenty of garlic.

The yeast can grow on the outer part of your external genital area too. As far as knowing if it's cleared up it would be after one has no longer had symptoms because of using medicine like Terazol for about a week.

If one suspects a yeast infection the only way to know for sure is to have this situation evaluated further by your doctor to see what they say.

Yeast naturally grows in your vagina, mouth and on your skin. It normally lives in balance with the other microscopic organisms that live in or on your body (which feed off of the yeast).

It is beneficial to the body when it is in control.

The problem is when it grows too much, too fast. Then you have to take medication to get it back in control.
