The inactive pills or placebos don't have any effect on you. The only reason for them is to keep you in the habit of taking a pill every day. Not taking the placebos is the same as taking them. You should be getting your period soon, but if you've missed, just start a new cycle of pills. I would recommend taking the inactive pills next month and every month thereafter, though, just to keep everything on a regular schedule. The pills should be taken the same time every day, whether they are the active or inactive ones. I guess they are there for a reason, and like I said, if you forget to take them, you could forget to take the real ones. That's why they are always included in the packet of pills.

Skipping the inactive pills does not weaken the effects of the pill... You are just fine skipping them, not sure why you are late tho... sorry!!

nothing happens if you don't take the sugar pills. they are really just to help you to stay in the habit of taking a pill every day.
