A LOT of women have horrible side affects with this shot.

I would not take another shot, and let this one run out of your system.

Please check out these reviews http://www.rateitall.com/t-330-birth-control-methods.aspx and google "depo provera lawsuit" before you get another shot.

My advice is to get the hell off of the depo. Very, very few people have success with it. I was on it for 4 years and hated every minute of it. I was too worried about the pill because I'm not very good at taking anything on a regular basis. It's supposed to be 12 week intervals but they dropped me to 10 because I couldn't take it. Even with that, 7 weeks I'd want to kill everyone else, and 3 weeks I'd want to kill myself. Crying, screaming, and sleeping were how I spent those four years. Horrible, horrible stuff. And my experience is not the exception, it is the norm. Try looking for some kind of discussion forum to see other people's experiences. This really helped me to discontinue using it. The headaches and such that you are experiencing are more than likely initial symptoms that accompany taking any prescription drugs.

As a side note, if you are already prone to miscarriages...if you do wanna have kids in the future, depo has long term effects that makes miscarriages pretty standard.

I would agree with the person that said don't use depo! A lot of women have A LOT of problems on it. But those side effects sound normal. My friend did it for 2 shots and bled the entire time. She also had severe headaches.

I would call your doctor. U may be having a reaction to the shot. I never had any reactions like that.
