We live in Berkeley, California, where is a huge community of weed smokers. It is easy to get weed here.

My fiance is in his 40s and he has been smoking weed on and off since he was a teenager. It doesn't have a big effect on him anymore. He doesn't even get high. Lately he started smoking daily and it's been since June. He says he would stop smoking, if he didn't have an easy access to it. We are planning on moving in a few years and he says he would definitely stop then. I know most people smoke here but I am worried. He started doing it five and more times a day lately. Can weed hurt his health eventually?

I knew that he smoked weed since our first date because he was never hiding it. So it is nothing that I could be mad at him now. But I do sometimes, especially lately. I love everything about him. He basically would be perfect if not weed. He stopped smoking cigarettes a few months ago, and he keeps saying that cigarettes are so much worse than weed.

Could it be something more than just a kidney infection? Mabey a misdiagnosis? My symptoms are... Pain in my lower back. feeling like i need to pee every 5 minutes and not being able to. Throwing up. can someone please help me.

My husband always gets bummed out, even to the point where he doesn't want to have sex, and he says it's because his penis is too small. But it isn't. We can have normal intercourse and both of us climax just from that intercourse. The only thing he can't climax from is felatio (sp?) . This really bothers me because I love him and I want him to be happy with his body. I tell him that he is not small and that he makes me happy and satisfied. But it still bothers him, and I can totally see why.

Now, I started looking around on the internet for this condition that I heard about on a plastic surgery show called hidden penis. The TV show of course couldn't show the surgery without being blurred, but I found websites with pictures, and it is EXACTLY what my husband has! How can I encourage him to get this diagnosed and possibly corrected without him thinking that it is for my benefit? I am happy with him the way that he is now, but I know he isn't, and I very much want him to be. HELP!!!

the reason i ask is because my brother just had surgery and will be prescribed painkillers and our family has a history of drug abuse and alcohol dependence.

so it would be best if he chooses the one that gives the least "high" feeling you get with opiates.

They bribe doctors with Olive Garden, smoothies, sporting tickets and golf to prescribe their drugs to as many people as they can! This is crazy, everyone is on antidepressants and cholesterol drugs now! When will this madness stop?

I was in the hospital recently for 5 days, I had just gotten some surgery done on my ribs. On day 5 I woke up from a nap and I couldn't move my left toes no matter how hard I tried. They weren't 'asleep' and didn't feel tingley. This lasted about 20 seconds, but it felt like an hour. It was truley terrifying.

The nurse said she had absolutley no clue and that I should ask my surgeron when I see him on tuesday.

I have been on a lot of drugs recently for pain and I was wondering if this had anything to do with it.

I was just curious as to if this has happened to anyone else.
I appreciate any feedback :)

I just went on a first aid course and after I was home I suddenly realised that at no point were we told to check for a pulse before commencing CPR (including heart massages).

I know it is a long time ago, but I was told when I was a Scout that if you did heart compressions on a beating heart it could stop it, so it should only be done on a stopped heart.

Has medical opinion changed or am I missing something? It seems odd that if someone is choking and you can't dislodge it you should start to massage their (possibly still beating normally) heart.

Anyone assist me?
