Absolutely.
STDs can be spread by vaginal, oral, or anal sex.
The STD that is probably spread more than any other STD by oral sex is herpes. If a person has a cold sore and gives another person oral sex it could cause the person "receiving" to develop genital herpes. It can also be spread the other way (genital herpes to the mouth which would cause cold sores).
Usually cold sores are caused by herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV1) and genital herpes are caused by herpes simplex virus 2 (HSV2), but BOTH HSV1 and HSV2 can cause either cold sores or genital herpes.

Yes but you can always ask your partner if they are clean go together . to get tested or even for oral sex use a condem look on the brightside with that easy clean up .

You certainly can. If someone is prone to cold sores and performs oral sex on you, you can catch genital herpes. Your partner does hot have to be showing any visible signs of a cold sore for you to catch the virus either.

You bet!!!! That's how I got Herpe's. He was getting a cold sore in his mouth and he went down on me and BAM. And now I got it for the rest of my life. What a sweetheart of him to tell me he has Herpe's.
