i have been trying to lose weight and now that i'm almost 100% that i am pregnant, i am worried that i will just get even bigger than i am right now. I just want to be healthy while i am pregnant and in general.

My mom might have breast cancer, but she said she doesn't have a lump. She's had two mammograms in the past two weeks and now we're waiting to see what the docter says. Can you exhibit no physicals signs and still have cancer?

Dad has colon cancer..and has had 2 treatments so far.. Folfox program.. Today, he did his blood work..and found out his white cell count is low..will have to another week to do his usually biweekly Tuesday treatment.. I am very upset, as I want him to get his 13 treatments done..of course..soon as possible. Has anyone had this happen? Thanks.. Concerned Daugther..

i was over at my friends house and they had this thing that looked like a pipe, but it was shorter and metal. what kind of drug were they smoking?

and the other one was this white paper tube, about as long as a pinky finger, and it had red and blue diamonds on it. and they were also smoking that. (and i know it wasnt a cigarette)

I am a very positive person. I see the best in life and am grateful for the fact that my life is better than most people's.

But currently for some particular events, I am stuck badly. I don't have any solution to the problem and talking to others did not help at all. What should I do?

I am depressed, sad and having suicidal thoughts. I don't want to have them but its difficult for me to get over it.

I was diagnosed with PCOS in April 07, my doctor has just precribed me Metformin to help regulate my cycle. She did not suggest i diet or exercise while taking the drug...
I'm not at all overweight (5'2 108lbs), so why is it adviseable i diet and exercise???? I am underweight, so if i diet i'll be loosing even more weight, i have a problem keeping my weight up in the first place, i seem to loose it very very easily so how would dieting help me? If i loose to much weight that is just a bad as gaining to much weight!
I don't have a problem with exercise, i do that anyways i'm a very energetic person..
They say to eat less carbs and cut back on your calories, well i eat more veggies and fruits than anything, and doesn't everything have carbs in it?? If they say to cut back, how do i do that if everything has carbs and calories in it??? What are some good things to eat that has low carbs and calories???please help!
