I am a very positive person. I see the best in life and am grateful for the fact that my life is better than most people's.

But currently for some particular events, I am stuck badly. I don't have any solution to the problem and talking to others did not help at all. What should I do?

I am depressed, sad and having suicidal thoughts. I don't want to have them but its difficult for me to get over it.

Hi hun! I'm glad you are a positive person and are grateful for your life, that is important and makes a difference in how you feel and look at things. Try to find the silver lining in the problems that you are talking about, that switches it from negative to positive. Take the problem and reason with yourself and determine if it is something you can fix or not. We can't fix all of our problem, we just need to cope with them the best we know how too. But above all please see your doctor and let him know how you are feeling. There are meds that can help or counseling can be a big help, if you don't want to take meds. Try to hang around family and friends that are supportive and understanding of your feelings! Negative people are not what you need right now. Please if your feelings of suicide are to much to handle than go see your doctor. They will help you get through. But of course that is the last straw. No one wants you to hurt yourself. You are unique, there is not another you! No one can replace you! You are important! Stay safe! hugs!

I would definitely speak to a psychiatrist immediately if you are having suicidal thoughts. There are people that care and medications you can take to help you. I, myself is currently on cymbalta for depression and anxiety. Also, talking to someone who you trust can help you too.

If you are having suicidal thoughts you need to talk to someone immediately. Forget about reading the responses here and find someone to talk to.

my advice is dont cut yourself or harm yourself in any other way think about the good things in your life like your family and friends and how much they love you (i have depression too)
