I know that I probably will not be average, because I'm 14 years old and only 5'1, not very tall. My mom is only 5'2, and my dad is 5'7. My younger sister is 5 ft. The doctor says that she will be taller then me, but how is this possible?

Okay...yes, I know Anorexia...bad, bad thing. yeah women with curves=beauty, men want booty, etc, etc. yes, health effects, death, destruction, the apocalypse...I KNOW
I'm doing it for control, i'll get over it, for now please YOU get over it and just answer if you have an appropriate one.

with that aside, if you have been diagnosed with Anorexia...I don't mean dieted and got "really thin"...there's a HUGE *** difference...if you were DIAGNOSED with it and once you got down to a weight where restricting/exercising wasn't really helping you lose it fast...what diet pill did you use, if any, which WORKED?

Yes, I'm anorexic, I know the health effects, I'm going to school to be a clinical psychologist and hopefully by then if i'm still around I will have learned to help myself before treating others...but still just please answer the question.

p.s. i'm on MyAlli and it was working...but it's a lipase inhibitor and i don't really ingest fat anymore so it doesn't really work for me

Hi, I'm 22 and I have carpal tunnel syndrome. I have tried everything and it's become so bad that I now have to wear braces 24 hours a day.

My doctor is recommending surgery and I'm wondering if anyone else has had it and if it worked for them. Plus, how long it took to recover. I'm a full time student and I use my hands for work.

I want to lose about 20 lbs in about a month. I am 12, about 5 ft, and weigh 110 lbs. Can I do this by simply eating less? Like, can I lose weight without having to go on a tredmill or something like that. What are some good exercises to do?

liked the look and feel better. But I'm getting tired of all the crap I take because of it. Is there any way I could merely trim the hair so that it isn't the bear rug texture it is if I leave it alone? Would a beard trimmer work? BTW, I find it really interesting that almost no one regards leg/body hair as aesthetically pleasing, yet if you do anything about it, you're gay.

I'm guessing a long-term solution would be to loose some weight so my thighs wouldn't rub in the first place, but what I really need is something to stop it from being so painful right now.

It isn't normally anything like this bad, but as swimming costume season has arrived I have shaved all the gross pubic-like hair that grows there off (am I the only one whose pubic hair doesn't stay where it's supposed to?). Once I'd shaved it the skin was smooth-ish for a while but large red spot-like things had appeared, like my legs had acne.

It all hurts and I am looking for something that will sooth it. I am teenage and therefore WAY too embarassed to see a doctor for it, but if there was something cheap I could pick up in Boots that would not be embarassing to be seen buying, that would be perfect.

In the bathroom cupboard I found a bottle of Calamine Lotion which claims to 'soothe sunburn and other minor skin conditions'. Will that help?

Any ideas for soothing skin? Thanks.

I'd say out of the seven days, atleast four of them I have a headache.

The headache lasts hours at an end, sometimes even all day and into the next morning.

The pain is always someplace different in my head. Sometimes it is right between my eyes, sometimes it is near my temples, sometimes it is near my hairline on my forehead. No matter where the headache circulates from, it is really annoying and has been going on for about a month now.

Just constant headaches that won't go away. I've tried sleep, water, tylenol, headache medicines, etc. I just want to know what might be causing these day to day headaches.

It might be stress.... I spent a whole year going to college full time with 19 credit hours while working two jobs. So I didn't get very good sleep that whole year. I quit one of those jobs about two months ago and school ended two months ago. So now I have a lot more free time on my hands and have time to sleep, but could that have to do with my headaches?

Lately, my armpits have been very itchy and red. I use deodorant, but I have not yet started to shave them. Do you think I am itchy because I haven't shaved yet? What should I do?

Almost everyday, I have a sudden moment of being short-breathed (a few hours sometimes) Aslo, I feel my heart, it has a strange rhythm, for a few beats, it beats somewhat quickly, then for two beats or so, I feel it thump slowly for a few seconds. Also, I sometimes feel numbness in my arms, abdomen, and face.

I would also appreciate some advice on what to do until I can go see a doctor.
