Lately, my armpits have been very itchy and red. I use deodorant, but I have not yet started to shave them. Do you think I am itchy because I haven't shaved yet? What should I do?

change ur deoderant. i have the same problem and i changed to dove ultimate clear senstive formula. now my pits a smooth even when i shave. id bet money on ur just getting irratated by the deoderant. if u have sensitive skin (which u might) you shouldnt buy real cheap deos. ull kno when u need to shave cuz ull see hair there thats kinda long. just change ur deoderant and it should clear up! i wish u the best and i hope i helped!

First of,what deoderant are you with?It sounds like you're having an allergy reaction.Other than that,i'd change the brand you're with to Secret,Ban,Dove etc. Those work the best out of all.And no shaving is not the answer why your armpits are itchy and red.

no ... your pits aren't red and itchy because you haven't shaved.... its because of your deodorant.... You sound like you are having an allergic reaction to it....I had the same issue ....use a clear gel for sensitive skin... they work much better.

FYI- if your pits are red and itchy.... your best bet would NOT to shave them until they are back to normal....

Good Luck!

Maybe you're allergic to that certain deodorant. Try another, maybe for sensitive skin...I cant imagine it being itchy because you havent started shaving, unless your hair is long enough that its making you itch.

It sounds like you're allergic to your deodorant.
Switch to another brand/type.

Not shaving would not make your underarms itchy and red. It's more likely to be an allergy.

Try changing deodorants. You could be allergic to the one you're using. If it's not the deodorant, you may need to see a dermatologist.

It sounds like you are allergic to your deodorant. Try a different brand and see if the rash goes away.

i would try another brand. you may be having an allergic reaction.

i absolutely would not shave and put the deoderant on because it will further irritate if you are allergic.
