I'd say out of the seven days, atleast four of them I have a headache.

The headache lasts hours at an end, sometimes even all day and into the next morning.

The pain is always someplace different in my head. Sometimes it is right between my eyes, sometimes it is near my temples, sometimes it is near my hairline on my forehead. No matter where the headache circulates from, it is really annoying and has been going on for about a month now.

Just constant headaches that won't go away. I've tried sleep, water, tylenol, headache medicines, etc. I just want to know what might be causing these day to day headaches.

It might be stress.... I spent a whole year going to college full time with 19 credit hours while working two jobs. So I didn't get very good sleep that whole year. I quit one of those jobs about two months ago and school ended two months ago. So now I have a lot more free time on my hands and have time to sleep, but could that have to do with my headaches?

There are many causes for headaches and many exacerbating factors. A chronic headache without resolution can be a significant issue but normally is just a headache.

The first thing that needs to be done is to figure out what type headache you have.

Keeping a headache diary is the best way to diagnose and determine proper treatment for your headaches.

A headache diary is basically tracking the onset and relief pattern of your headaches along with other symptoms which may be part of the headache syndrome. Also note any environmental/lifestyle factors which may affect your headaches.

A good source for information is the National Headache Foundation at www.headches.org.

You will find at that site under the educational resources tab, a page on what to discuss with your headache doc as well as a headache diary and how to use it. See both of those before your appointment with a provider.

That being said, your headaches lasting greater than 4 hours and even in excess of 24 hours may well demonstrate a migraine pattern. Another problem is that with recurrent or chronic headaches the analgesics commonly used for cephalgia can cause a rebound effect and cause the headaches they were designed to treat.

Finally, you need to see a health care provider for a history and physical exam. Based on your examination and the history aided by a diary of symptoms, they may be able to pick an effective treatment or may find you need further testing possibly an MRI of brain.

You cannot be diagnosed properly over the internet, though a good history of symptoms and aggrevating factors could guide your provider in making a diagnosis.

Good luck with your headaches.

I agree with imaprilhesnovermber, this sounds like a classic stress headache.
You would be surprised at the effects stress can have on your body.
Headaches are one of the most common symptoms.
Still, nobody here is a liscensed physician, and should not even try to diagnose you.
The best advice is to go see your doctor when you can, to at least rule out anything physical.
Sometimes, just knowing what it is can reduce the anxiety that you feel.

Good luck!

I have had migraines for years that last for most of the time, go on for days and make me nauseous, dizzy...Tylenol never does anything positive for me. Try ibuprofen. How about coffee or tea, do you drink them? For some people, either coffee or tea with aspirin or ibuprofen can help. Magnesium supplements can work for some. Exercise can work for some . Being mildly dehydrated can be a cause too, so drink plenty of water.

Some of us get headaches from varied sleep times. Try sleeping at the same times, for the same amounts for a month or so to see if that helps. Try walking or biking each day and sleeping regular hours. Also avoid sugars and eat a good diet.

You may need to go to a neurologist for help with this. Or a chiropractor or a cranio-sacral practitioner. I have been going for acupuncture for a year and this has helped me . You may just need to learn and try things until you find what helps you.

Sounds like this good be a stress headache. If you are under allot of stress it can cause headaches. Also if you are looking at a computer all day long you could have eye strain, Have you had your eyes checked? Also, you could have TMJ and grinding your teeth at night and clinching your jaw during the day. You can google TMJ to get more information.

Drink lots of water and try to relax.

There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.

Avoid late sleeping if possible;spicy, sour, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help you.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.
If it is acute pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

sounds like migranes to me. i would get them up to 3 days a week. mine were caused from stress and i also think that having a job that i spend the majority infront of a computer strains my eyes. if you are not eating correctly, stressed out, then that is definitely a cause. if you are than maybe if you dont already you should get an eye exam to see if you need glasses. excedrine migrane extra strength works well!

you might want to consider going to the docter for a check up. they might be signs of something worse. Your body tells you when it doesn't feel good, and its best you don't ignore it.
