There are always exceptions to the rule of 7 hours a day.
The first question is always: do you think it affects you. Observe yourself. if you are healthy and not feeling stretched anxious and frazzled then you are an exception to most of society, who hurt when they need to do what you are doing (if they do). If none of these apply you are probably unlikely to get much of the defecit.

HOWEVER observe yourself over a week or so and see if this always apply. If you sometimes have an issue seek a medical advice, do not feel you have to take a pharmaceutical escape! Far more likely to affect your body!

Lack of sleep or not getting the recommend hours, which is usually 8 hours, can throw your system out of whack. Evidently, you are experiencing more stress than usual and, this will also do the same. Because of this routine, your hormones become effected. Are you actively trying to become pregnant?? Why not purchase an ovulation detection kit to help?? Decrease your caffeine intake as this can cause restless, insomnia, irritability etc. Drink more water and avoid soda, especially diet caffeine laced soda. Increase your exercise. Just taking a brisk walk a once or twice a day, can make you sleep better and reduce stress. Eat healthy foods, avoid fast food etc. If this continues, call your Doc. There could be an underlying physical condition. I hope that this helps and Good Luck.

Your never to old to go back to college so good on yah for that but you will need more than 4 hours sleep a day to start with or it will be a waste of time and money of you going to college as you will probably be asleep through your lessons.... As for the meds your on I have no idea what's in them but if you don't need them then stop taking them cos your making more damage to your body than good.... Also you can't live on red bull unless you want to have a heart attack... I used to drink a lot of it till I had a medical and my heart rate was off the scale doc asked if I had taken anything or drank anything do told him that I drank 4 cans of red bull a day he went mental with me and told me that if I carry on I WILL have a heart attack soon guess what haven't touched it since value my life to much...

depends in large part on your age, the older you get the less sleep you tend to require. But if you are say under fifty, you need at least eight hours to regenerate and heal. If you are shorting yourself by half, you can indeed do permanent damage that can lead to heart disease and all sorts of other issues.
