Hi. I think I am showing signs of bipolar disorder/cyclothymia. i'm not goinig to bore you all with details of symptoms, because i know something isnt right. i've been up and down since around the end of 2006, but for like cyclothymia you have to have had symptoms for 2 years. i know there is something not right, because how i am is definitly not right. so what from here? how do i get help? what do i do? the problem is my family - id get told to stop being silly or being told i'm not like that. i hate that though, being in effect told how i am, and then getting shouted at if i try and argue back, and its also demoralising to have an older brother telling you to grow up and stop being a drama queen. what can i do? if it turns out that there is something, do i want to talk to my family about it? not really. im at some confusion at what to do. im in my teens. can anyone give me any advice??? thanks.

My boyfriend's hands are always cold. Sometimes when he does things, such as a push-up or something, his hands go purple. Not just pinkish, but a dark dark purple. It worries me. Are these signs of bad blood circulation?

My dad has recently suffered a heart attack, and when he was in the hospital he was diagnosed with high cholesterol, as diabetic and with gall stones. He has been told to avoid sugar, salt, high fat and greasy foods. I can't seem to find anything except salads and vegetables that find into all three categories!! Anyone out there with some advice, and maybe even recipes or sites to visit would be greatly appreciated.

trusted friend abused me and then said i deserved it now whenever i see the person rubs it in and says i hope you dont kill yourself 'smugly', you deserved it and things like that. Okay, so early on this week, my 2 year old sister had started with a routine cough. On Wedneday, my mom put her to sleep, and after about an hour started to cough a lot. My mom started to get frustrated and tryed to console her. My mom layed her on top of her stomach laying down and she started gagging from coughing and then threw up. I am a severe emetophobe and so I started throwing a fit. But anyway, after the throwing up, she was acting normally, hitting and fooling with the cat, and then went to bed. So, about 10 minutes ago, me and mmy mo were talking and then we heard her start to cough. She started coughing more heavily and then began gagging and throwing up again. She had eaten a hot dog and some ice cream earlier (which isnt good for a cough). Last night my mom also tryed Delsyum, a supposed "good" cough medicine. Nothing happened. Do you think that it is from the cough that she threw up or a stomach virus? I am so paranoid about throw up, thats why im asking :)

im 29, have bpd, struggle with low moods and im very jealous and angry at other people because they have a life, and im not a part of that.

hi, i need to lose weight fast but i need to keep it off, i try every diet and nothing works, so i've given up on those stupid fad diets and i'm asking normal people for help lol so if you could give me any tips on how to lose weight quite quickly but keeping it off i would appreciate it very much! :) at the moment i'm quite chubby and i am pregnant so i don't want to over do it, i'm 5ft 8 inches tall and i'm just under 10 stone :S so i'd rather be atleast half that weight right now, but also in the future i want to lose at least 1.5 stone maybe 2 depends on what's healthiest, if you could help me i would be very greatful! *huggles* thank you :)

My daughter is 21 months old. She has rashes on the back of her hands and on the back of her legs where her knee is. I have no clue what it is and it looks like its spreading. She is always itching it so I know it must be uncomfortable. I bathe her daily and have started putting hydrocortisone on the area. Shes had them for about 5 months, Any suggestions to what I should put on it or what it is would be great.
