I just took one, & I was dizzy & saw stars & almost passed out. Ever since I was a teenager, this has been happening to me, but I GOTTA make sure my body is clean & free of germs.

it could be the sudden temp change your feeling and the steam in the air makes you disorianted and dizzy, I have experinced this a few times. maby turn the watter up slowly and see if that helps or at what point it starts to feel that way if it dosent to not make yourself faint.
Proper ventilation in the room would be a great thing to have too.

I hope that your blood pressure is OK. A blood pressure problem could cause this when you take a hot shower.

Maybe you need to take showers that are not so hot. You can still get clean by taking warm showers. Just use an antibacterial soap and you will be as clean and germ free as you are with a hot shower.

Also before you take a shower make sure you have eaten something. If you shower in the morning have breakfast first; maybe you won't get so lightheaded.

Look up the side effects on any medications and make sure that lowered blood pressure is not one of the side effects.

Until you find out what is causing this, PLEASE BE CAREFUL.

the only way that I have heard of someone dying from taking a hot shower is taking one after your body has been cold for a while, cold enough to drop your body temperature a couple of degrees. Jumping in a hot shower after this has occurred can cause shock to your body, which in turn, can cause you to have a heart attack. I have only heard of this happening in very few instances.
If you think that a hot shower can kill you, try reducing the temperature of the water. Hot water kills the odor causing germs that you may have come into contact with.

I was going to ask this question. yeah, I had an experience a long time ago where I was in a hotel shower. I usually take really hot showers. the hotel shower was enclosed and apparently the steam got to me. I felt like I was going to die, but maybe I was about to pass out. I don't know. I had to get out of the shower to breathe and I think I splashed cold water on my face too. they shouldn't have showers that are enclosed like that.
