My boyfriend's hands are always cold. Sometimes when he does things, such as a push-up or something, his hands go purple. Not just pinkish, but a dark dark purple. It worries me. Are these signs of bad blood circulation?

He has some Irish in him and some German in him, if that helps.

Raynard's Disease, contractions of the veins due to cold. I had it, have not seen it for a few years now TG. However I did threaten to offer my services for the Christmas Lights for the Town, as I adored the color changes, really weird. He needs to stop smoking, stop alcohol and wear gloves and 100% wool socks. Try and get him on Omega 3 fish oil capsules, which will help with the circulation. However if he follows this or decides he does not have a problem, well last time I was in Hospital, elderly female had her fingers amputated and that was not nice to witness.

That could be. I have poor circulation as well and I get white spots on my legs. He needs to talk to his doctor about this because it can cause serious problems later in life.

My grandfather is always cold and he has a heart condition. I think its something to do with circulation though.

If i sit on my leg for more than 2 minutes its gets all tingly and numb, i blame it on bad circulation, so sure why not.

It depends on his heritage. Is there any Irish in his blood?
Has he had heart surgery or any disease?
or is he on medication?
