I recently had a skin tag removed from above my eyebrow. Surgeon excised the legion and used very fine stitches to close the wound. Its been six months and the wound has not fully healed. The edges of the wound have not quite come together completely but has improved slightly over the months. Is this normall? will the wound eventually end up looking like a fine white line which i was told it would. How long will that take?

I have been taking birth control for a long time... Just started my period on the 20th.. and is now the 26th... I haven't had my pills in a few days either... My period is also usually brown, awhile back the doc told me that is b/c of my pills and b/c I've been taking them for soo long... Now.. my period is like a bright red.. it's not heavy right now.. it's more spotting to medium... Should I be concerned... or is it my body being confused from not having the pill in a few days? (Like about a week..) Nothing should happen right if it's just my period still.. right? I'm concerned b/c I've have a miscarriage about acouple years back.. If it lasts longer then 7 days or so.. I think I should go to the doc's... But.. it very may well be my period be extended a bit.. and also b/c i haven't had my pills in a few days... And I know the past 5 days have been my period b/c I keep track as to when my period will show up...
Please lemme know what your thoughts are... Thanx!

It seems like a lot of people are depressed these days and the World Health Organization says it is going to overtake heart disease as the number one disability. Is it all chemical imbalances as psychiatrists claim or is something in our modern society depressing to a lot of people - which then causes chemical imbalance?

Hi, My feet are OK, just my skin I have never attended to , I'm sort of a female farmer. My skin was always white when it was popular to be tan so I never took care of it because who wanted pretty white skin in the 60's? But alas, after using my feet for so long, they are dry, cracked, and kind of burn. I know I just need to lotion them up with something that is very good and perhaps soak them every night and baby them, but what might be some good ideas. Should I wear a certain kind of sock like for a diabetic or such to baby them ? I almost always have socks on because the carpet sucks the oil out of my feet. No smart aleck answers, altho a joke now and then never hurts :)

I am 5'2 and weigh 145lbs.....i want to lose 25 lbs...is that a good anount for my height? how can i do this buy august 1 or is that even possible? I have quite a few exersize things such as billy blanks system with the 3 dvds and billy bands also the set for turbo jam. which should i use if any of them? what should my diet consist of? and how much alories should i consume if i excersize at least45 a day for 6 days?

I most likely be alright by Wednesday? My app. is wed. for the tooth extraction, then a week or two for the 2 root canals
I was put on anti-biotics today. So I'm free from danger, right?
Yeah, I know I shouldn't have waited long, however I don't get tooth pain like most people, and if it does happen it's SO MILD!
Feeling weak but taking acidophilis, bromelain, vitamin C, bee pollen, multi vitamin, tea tonics (nettle leaf, milk thistle) and cod liver oil.
Rest + these are making me feel a lot better :o)
But still feel weak--do you think everything will be okay until Wednesday?
And if you ever had more than one rotten tooth in your mouth, such as the examples above, what was YOUR experience like? [hey, bet you never let that EVER happen again, lol! Yep, learned me lesson good]

I am off from work and college this summer until September. A neighbor asked me to help her daughter get from a size 18 to a size 8 over the summer. She offered to pay me $375 a week to help her daughter work out and eat right. If she gets to a size 8 or small from May 28-September 1, I get $2,500 extra in cash.

First, is this possibly for me to help her with? What should her workout schedule be like? Diet Plans? Do you think she could get to a size eight?

I'm not sure what it is... It's like several small lumps, smaller than acne spots, and it's flesh-coloured with no pus. They're all over my friend's forehead... Been there as an every-day thing.

I recommended clearasil, it's all I could think of, but that didn't do anything. Maybe some oxytetracycline pills or something...

Does anyone know what it is? How can it be treated?

Just today, while i was going to the bathroom, as I walked out the door, my husband ran away really quick. I saw him but he doesn't know that I did. He was peeking through the hole watching me go to the bathroom. That is not the first time either. Also, I think my husband touches me when I'm sleeping. He will give me a massage but then when I am almost asleep he touches me and I can feel him but I am too scared to wake up and say something. He says that I wake up and hit him sometimes when I am asleep and I remember having a dream that I hit him because he is touching me where I dont want to be touched and I dont think it is a dream. What do I do? Am I overreacting?

When I wake up, my eyesight go completely black. When I try to walk, I am dizzy to walk. So, I have to stand still. My eyesight return to normal after 3-5 seconds. So, what is my eye problem called and what causes it? Do I need glasses or take eye medicine? It's been happening for 1 year already but it is only like 2 time per month.

I'm at a loss on what my husbands allergic to. At first I was thinking it was wheat, or yeast or gluten but now i'm lost again. He can eat tortilla shells and grapenut cereal, but can't eat 100% whole wheat bread. He seemed fine with white bread last time he ate it, but yet he's allergic to baked ritz crackers.
I'm so confused and I've looked many things up and checked labels trying to find the one ingredient that he's allergic to just to find it on the list of ingredients in something he can eat which brings me back to square one....again.

We have gone to an allergist but he was of no help with my husbands food allergies. He refused to do a food allergy test. And yes we've done the writing down what he eats for a week and checking ingredients. I'm lost, i'm frustrated and I'm rather angry because i'm not getting anwhere on figuring any of this out. I've checked out many web sites but still haven't been able to find much. Please help. Serious answers only. Thank you.

Ouch my rotator cuff?

i hurt my rotator cuff the doc said. He was amazed that he did not even need to undress me to tell this. on the back side of my shoulder there is a bump and a bruise followin my shoulder. any ideas wat wrong?

I've had 8 spinal surgeries with the harrington rods and srews for mild kyphosis and I'm still bent forward, wnt back to my DR.,he says I'm not that bad andthat my curvage is 41% bent forward. Everyone in my family, my friends and myself know I really look bad so bent over,does anyone know to what degree a person who has had these many surgeries. spine should be. It is not known the cause of multiple sclerosis, although some say it could be caused by a viral or bacterial infection. Does this mean ANY virus or bacteria?
