I was a -7.00 with astigmatism in both eyes. I had Lasik five weeks ago and now am 20/20 with no astigmatism.

Astigmatism means that your cornea is not exactly symmetrical, it bulges in one area. If you have enough corneal thickness, an astigmatism can be corrected. The only way to tell is to have the evaluation done on your eyes.

With a -1.5 prescription, most likely you will have no problems. Check with an experienced Lasik surgeon to have your specific case evaluated!!

Before you have surgery, you will need to wear your glasses (no contacts) for a minimum of 3 weeks.

Lazer eye surgical procedure has tested to be a facinating fix. My ex female friend had it five yaers in the past and has no longer had a unmarried challenge. Her's used to be a little bit extra intricate due to the fact of the deformation of her cornea. The dr. needed to do two lazer surgical procedure consistent with eye. It felt uncomfortable for approximately per week, however the weeklong of sand in eye feeling used to be minimal in comparison to the results. I say have it however make certain it's performed through a good certified dr. Good success

Yes you can have lasik surgery for your eyes. Of course they would need to be examined to make sure they are healthy. I had Lasik surgery 3yrs ago and I also had astigmatism. It will cost slighty more but it's worth it in the end.

lasik definitely CAN be performed on astigmatism. more astigmatism is more difficult, but -1.50 diopters of astigmatism is definitely do-able.
