I am 5'2 and weigh 145lbs.....i want to lose 25 lbs...is that a good anount for my height? how can i do this buy august 1 or is that even possible? I have quite a few exersize things such as billy blanks system with the 3 dvds and billy bands also the set for turbo jam. which should i use if any of them? what should my diet consist of? and how much alories should i consume if i excersize at least45 a day for 6 days?

It IS possible.. and weighing around 120 lbs for your height is healthy. Healthy weight ranges vary depending on your body frame size and how much muscle you have.

You can use whichever exercise things you like--as long as you exercise. It will not only help you lose weight, but it will improve your health as well. Just get moving--walking, jogging, biking, taking a class, dvd workout, etc. Aim for 30 to 60 minutes at least 6 days a week of some kind of movement so you are burning calories!

Your diet should consist of: complex carbohydrates (think: 100% whole wheat, LOW sugar, low simple carbs), lean proteins (white meats--turkey, chicken, shrimp, fish, etc... + 95% or leaner red meats if you really want red meat--but don't overindulge!), and mono- and polyunsaturated fats (olive oils, nuts, omega-3s, etc.)... keep saturated fat consumption LOW, and avoid trans fats--they are horrible for your health and your weight.

NO REGULAR SODA!!! People have no idea how much extra sugar and calories that adds on to their diets. Use sugar substitutes if you drink coffee. For dairy..use low fat!! 1% of skim milk, etc. Little changes add up. And of course... fruits and vegetables! Cliche, but it works. It adds bulk, fiber, nutrients, antioxidants, without all the calories.

As for calories... aim for 1400 to 1800 calories per day of the types of foods listed above... eat every few hours--don't skip breakfast (read cereal labels for "high fructose corn syrup--and don't eat those--too much refined sugar)...have a morning and afternoon snack.. sugar free popsicles are great desserts. There's lots of variety, lots of choices.. try keeping a food journal so you realize how much you are consuming--thats a good way to keep track of calories too.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

If you really want to lose weigh you need to do what ever i tell you other wise do not bother with it,
First you need to eat you breakfast before 7 AM eat what ever you want,at noon you eat very large salad with out dressing olive oil prefer,and evening you eat large serving of fruit and after that you walk at least one mile more less,then nothing else tell next day,do not forget about your water
Sleep early and wake up early and see how your health it will improve

I lost about 23 but over 3 mos or so. I watched my calories and made sure I exercised away more calories than I ate. I still want to loose about 10 more. good luck
