I recently had a skin tag removed from above my eyebrow. Surgeon excised the legion and used very fine stitches to close the wound. Its been six months and the wound has not fully healed. The edges of the wound have not quite come together completely but has improved slightly over the months. Is this normall? will the wound eventually end up looking like a fine white line which i was told it would. How long will that take?

I had two surgical procedures on xanthoma on my eyelid, real soft skin. First left me with a black eye and that operation was in Hospital, oh what fun? Second I had with a Physician who has a interest in skin, did it in his surgery, used silk stitches and I do not even have a fine white line.
