I am a straight man with a shoe fetish. I am also happily married to a woman who is fully aware of it. I have had this fetish for as long as I can remember. I mean it is hardwired in my brain and I can't get rid of it. I know, I have tried. I have spoken to psychologists about it, and they tell me that many people have fetishes, and that it is OK to enjoy it as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else. Why are some people so disgusted by something like this? Why are guys with shoe or foot fetishes seen as perverted and potentially dangerous? In every major news story in the last several decades, I have never heard that the perpetrator of the crime had a shoe fetish. What is so bad about having a shoe fetish or a foot fetish? We do however give the best foot massages. Also, most men raise hell because their wife has too many shoes. Not me!

As I've gotten older, I seem to be more and more allergic to bug bites. An average mosquito bite will swell to anywhere from nickel to quarter size on my body, and I'm the kind of person that seems to attract every mosquito in a 3 mile range. But whether it is from a mosquito, a chigger, a tick or whatever, the bites swell to large sizes and last for 1 to 2 weeks, on average.

My question is this: is there any medical venue for me to pursue in an effort to put an end to this misery? I already try to spray myself down with bug spray before spending time outdoors, but it's gotten to the point that I'm reluctant to even go out to the mailbox without that protective layer of bug spray.

Any ideas?

I was suffering from upper back pain and even neck pain since 2 weeks. I went to the physician and he referred to me Chiropractic coz he couldn't figure out the cause. After visiting Chiropractic, I discovered that my spine was little curved rather than being straight. I had not known this my whole life. I am now 25 years old. Because of the position of spine, I was told that the nerve was pinched and that is the cause for pain. So he started giving me impulses on the back and told that it would take 8 mths to make my spine straight and normal. I am really confused at this point because I wonder will I be completely okay after 8 mths or not. I have still the pain in my back and it gets worse with little physical activities. Did anyone have such problem ? Are Chiropractic really good in making the spine straight or I am in dilemma ? What would you suggest ? Should I go regular until 8 months and expect something good or its just waste of time and money. Thanks

I slept all night in a proper position. I woke up feeling fantastic and didn't do anything strenous. All of a sudden in the afternoon I started getting pain on one side of the neck. It travelled to the other side of the neck and developed into a stiff neck within one hour. This happened to me a month back as well. Any ideas why would this happen.

and I've talked with my gynecologist about the side effects.
Normally, my PMS is EXTREMELY bad and the day that
I get my period, I'm having the best day of my life for about
a week and then my PMS hits again. My doctor said that
in cases like mine, it's possible for Depo to reverse that.
I wanted to know if this has happened to any of you because
the women I've talked to about Depo say that they didn't
have extreme PMS like I did but it reversed their symptoms
causing them to be very irritable. I'm wondering if the reason
for such terrible Depo side effects is the normality of
pre-menstrual symptoms prior to beginning the shot.

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I have been taking a kick boxing class and have noticed pain in my shoulder. It is a dull consistance pain. I notice the most pain when I carry my purse on my shoulder. I also notice that the pain will subside when I have my arm raised above my head. Any suggestions on what to take or do for the pain?

Approximately 8 months ago, my husband used a sulfuric acid based drain opened on our bathroom sink, which ate through the plumbing and spilled onto the floor. He had flour and baking soda to soak up the spill, but I walked into bathroom and accidentally got some of the liquid on the bottom of my right foot. No pain but burning sensation and felt hot...skin invariably peeled off from heel to base of toes. Still has not totally healed. Now, when my foot is damp from sweat after working all day, or after I get out from soaking in the tub, the skin on the bottom of my right foot peels away...just by walking on the rug or carpet, and the skil just rolls off. Leaves a red, raw area which BURNS and then later itches like crazy. I've used topical steroid creams and ointments, and have yet to find something that will totally heal the area. Have been on antibiotics twice, but no effect. Have tried antifungal, still no help. Anyone have any ideas? My MD is even stumped.
