You went back to quickly to running after your surgery. To really let a hernia surgery heal you've got to give it four months. For now take a break from running . Give your body the time it needs to heal. Then slowly start back your running routine, but only every other day.

Take a good quality Multi vitamin twice daily to give your body the nutrition it needs to heal.

If you had general anesthesia with your surgery, it can sometimes take 6 weeks to completely recover from that. But if the problem persists, I would keep after the doctors until you get some results. You might need an arteriogram.

I think you just need to rest for a while.
I used to have terrible pain in my legs too and it turned out to be that i have to rest for a while from running cause i used to do it everyday or so.
I don't know really but anyway get well soon.
